Absolute sham for everything from sales, service and communication. I believe that it is a Toyota culture.
Everything was great, then we got to finance guy, Miguel, who was so shady. They offered me a 12% APR for the car which I declined because I got an approval from my credit union for around 7.5% APR. He said he will work with my credit union and I was allowed to take the car home. Absolutely the worst car buying experience EVER! Took our money & said the car hadn't been thru their maintenance check & they would deliver the car to Bullhead City (this was Friday) by the next Tuesday (Monday was Christmas) maybe Wednesday 😳 by Friday after many phone calls, the & finally driving back the 3hr drive & sitting around their lot, while they continually blamed the maintenance but it was a stall to get a higher monthly payment, now blaming the age of the vehicle ( my fico score was over 750). Insult upon injury-high price for maintenance and charged an extra 3% when paid by credit card!
I would give zero stars if I could. I have issues every time I need something done. I have to repeatedly call and leave messages for warranty services I have to use only through thier dealership that go un answered. I absolutely despise coming here for anything. I am currently here for minor stains so I am having the Zack tek interior claim being processed. It's been over 4 hours!!! I could have had the whole car detailed quicker than that! A repeat customer at Camelback, my experience buying a new 2023 4Runner on Oct 30, 2023, was disappointing. I felt very little customer service or attention to detail and definitely did not feel like a valued, repeat customer. I no longer trust Camelback Toyota. A terrible experience altogether. I was sold a "lemon" car and have paid an extraordinary amount of money to have it repaired several times at Toyota Camelback to which they never repaired it in full. My car overheated and broke down several times and was in their shop 2 times in one week due to the same issue. My coolant was still draining out after I got it back for the "repair" they claimed to make, which cost me over 1200$. I brought my car in because it wouldn't start. They told me I needed a new starter. When they tried to replace the starter they broke one of the bolts, They charged me to remove the transmission and drill out the bolt. when doing this they damaged the motor and told me that I needed a new motor now for $26,000. I had to pay them $2700 to get my car back in pieces! After towing it to another shop they were able to put my car back together and fix it for just over $1000 And worst of all the old starter was fine the whole time!... read more
