If I could give zero stars I would. These people are absolute thieves! Son leased a VW from an out of state dealership, then moved to Phoenix. These people try to sell him a new car every time he's there for service! When his lease ran out he tried to buy the car. They lied about the costs at every step! Lied about what he owed, lied about inspection, lied about doc fees, etc, etc! Wanted to charge him $3500, just to to take the car! Told him they were doing him a favor! WOW! I can see why this business is 2.5 stars! Michael, It would have been nice if your staff was truthful with me in the beginning. I talked with Paul and told him exactly how much I could give as a down payment. I was discussing this with Ruben for over 3 months, and he knew all my issues with my credit. I come in and was interested in the Tiguan, took it for a drive and when returning was told i wasn't able to afford it. The young salesman said "but we CAN get you into this Subaru Impreza." Does anyone from Camelback VW actually read these reviews? I won't go into how many times I had to take my used Touareg in for a check engine light or the seat heater. My major complaint is the pushy salesmen that even after I tell them no, call me over and over again. I finally had to block the number. Get a clue - if I say I'm not buying a car from your dealership ever again, calling me four times in a row after I've hung up on you isn't going to change my mind especially when you appear as "Spam Risk" when you call.... read more

Zaktek paint and interior warranty was slipped into our financing (for our 10 year old used car) without telling us it was optional. The paperwork has a section (below the area we were instructed to sign) that says "Zaktek is NOT a requirement for the purchase of this vehicle." This was not communicated or shown to us. When we spoke to the finance manager about it the following business day, he said that all of their cars had this warranty and it was not optional and we would have to pay for it regardless. Camelback Volkswagen sold me what they claimed to be a new car. Upon getting it to my house, I discovered that they had left somebody else's loan papers (with all of their personal and private information) in the glovebox. That means, they had already sold my car to somebody whose loan did not end up going through, who got to drive it around for a few weeks, had to return it, then sold it to me. Horrible service I was sold a car at the end of April early May engine light came on they said they fixed the problem took my car to a ASE certified repair center and to another dealer and was told the oil was never changed in the car the battery was not the correct battery for my car the brakes rotors and sensors had to be replace. I usually don't do this but I feel like I had to share. I went up thinking that I was going to be able to either one turn in my lease or get into another vehicle. The only reason I went there was because I was told numerous times they could do it no problem, within 10 minutes of getting there we were being pulled into double payments and vehicles we had no interest in. I get it they don't do the financing part but when they tell me that they are able to do this and then come back and its double the amount it is a bit dishear... read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. The worst. I was there three days in what I thought was them being thorough and really answering all my questions about the vehicle. No. Wrong. The first day the finance guy was so rude to me. Trying to intimidate me isn't going to work. Telling me if I try and go anywhere else, they're going to "laugh in my face". I brought my car in for a nail in the tire (the tire had to be replaced). I purchased tire/road hazard coverage through VW so I had to go to VW to have this done. They had my car all day and couldn't get me a tire until 5 pm. When I picked up my car the tire and hubcap were white and dirty. I decided not to complain because I just wanted my car back.
