Don't take your car to get serviced here . They will mess it up and blame you for it . Service manager Frank will tell you things like this happen all the time . My daughter took her car to get serviced and they messed up the oil plug on car . Technician stripped it and caused my engine to lose its oil from leaking out . They said they would not cover it due to normal wear . Obviously the tech working on car over tightened it and stripped bolt in oil Pan . DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY. I purchased a used vehicle from Camelback Volkswagen, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, I made it clear that safety was my number one priority. We had an awful experience with Camelback Volkswagen. We went in ready to buy an ID.4, but the sales staff was so uninterested and unhelpful that we drove to Chapman Volkswagen in Scottsdale and bought the same car that day. We live just five minutes from Camelback but will never buy here. Service has been just as bad. We've had two recalls and tried to schedule months in advance. If you care about your family and their safety, go somewhere else to buy a car or get it serviced. I've tried to give Camelback Volkswagen multiple chances, but my experience over the past several months has been incredibly disappointing, especially considering how much trust I placed in their service department with my family's safety. I came to get an oil change my appointment start time was 12pm the service advisor told me it would be 1 1/2 time wait. It's been 3 hours now and at the 2 hour mark the advisor told me it was in the car wash. I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure a car wash does not take an hour unless it's getting detailed and by the looks of it it was not detailed. The service here was unbelievably horrible. Need better customer service - especially from the Service dept. Camelback VW has lost a customer. Service Advisor claimed a $900 service is needed for my service interval, but that service is not listed for any interval in the maintenance schedule. VW Customer Care confirmed. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, the Service Manager, Frank, looked at me at least 4 times with a scowl on his face. Made me feel not only unwelcome, but unsafe. Tried to buy a Jetta years ago and was bait-and-switched on our trade value when we went to pick it up. Got one from another dealership. Went in January for a new id4 and was given the run around and basically ignored. Went to another dealership to purchase it. Now need service. Made an appointment over a week ago for a Sat morning. Leaving my garage to drive there, I get a call that there are no id4 specialists on Saturdays. Very unorganized and unprofessional dealership. This many misses with one person is crazy. Joe is a terrible service tech. I dropped off my car at 730 and wanted to pick it up at 2pm. he said he would call me before 1:30 he didnt. I called at 1:30 and his co worker said he will leave a note on his desk. Called back a 3rd time. Still no awnser. Stole my car pretty much
