Service department is a total disaster. I have been here since 9:45. It is nearly 2pm now. The car has been done for an hour but because the service advisor is not here, no one can check me out. So now I just wait to hand them over $1600. My phone is dead, I am starving and they have been total dicks here.

Business response:

We understand how frustrating it must have felt to be waiting so long, especially after your vehicle was already finished. That’s certainly not the kind of visit we aim to provide, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We’d really like the opportunity to speak with you directly to ensure your concerns are addressed. Please reach out to Frank Cheyney, our Service Manager, at 602-265-6600 at your earliest convenience.

Bad business practice. Charge for first diagnostic $169 times 2 and no work was done. One for Engine misfires claims by VW and EPC coolant/throttle issues that I know. Myles tried to get additional $1000 for diagnostic. I refuse 1st time and told him to work on EPC issues. He called 2nd time and HIGHLY RECOMMMED for engine misfires and not work on EPC first. I have a scanner in my car it only showed EPC for throttle and coolant issues. There was no code what so ever for engine misfire. I told him to have my car ready... read more

Vehicle (ID4) booked on line for recall. Notice of confirmation received via text. Detai of recall noted on the booking including recall number. Arrived for service to be informed I had not booked. I offered to show proof and was rejected. Told that parts were not available anyway. Asked why I was not informed and told if I had booked he would have called me. he has never returned my calls or messages one of which was to ask about the recall. Disrespectful couldn't care less dismissive non apologetic attitude is insulting.... read more

Everytime I buy a car, before I leave the lot, I always have a lender. I always know who I owe my money to. This dealer is the only car dealer that I have dealt with that let's you drive off with the car without a lender. My son was disappointed we had to return the car. The sale staff there is very nice though. Carter has been very helpful. Management is disorganized and will give a car to anyone even without a lender. Kinda fishy don't you think?

Business response:

Kai, ensuring our team provides great service is always a priority. We understand your concerns about the financing process and regret that it left you feeling uncertain. Our goal is to make every part of the car-buying journey seamless, and we’re committed to improving where needed. To discuss this matter further and address your concerns, please reach out to our Sales Manager, Steve Porter, at 602-847-8538.

Unprofessional people here. Bullshit and such huge liars and scammers, I already know car dealerships tries to scam people when buying a car but this place is so much worse then others. They will sell you a car or at least try to and claim that everything is good but if they can't find a lender for you they won't even let you know unless you call them yourself. And even then they still didn't find a lender. They will even lie and say that they found a better price on the monthly but waste your time and give you a higher one ... read more

Camelback Volkswagen sold me a car with a misfiring engine and a hood that flaps up on the freeway. My car failed the week after my first car payment. I brought it in for repair as directed by the salesperson who sold me the car, Kevin. I paid $160 for a diagnostic and was sent to another dealership with my broken car because they couldn't fix it. Now I'm looking at close to $1000 in repairs, an additional diagnostic fee and no promise that the problem won't persist. I also think it is helpful to mention my car payment is D... read more

0 stars, the car salesmen were so high pressured, practically just wanted me to sign. Would not let me think about it for a day. After I was ready to walk out, manager questioned my manhood. Mf lucky he didn't catch me on a bad day lol. This whole dealership are nothing but clowns. Service side 5 stars tho

Stay away from this service department. Twice we have had to go back after runtime maintenance. When I called today after our coolant light came on I was told "maybe it's time for a new car" What the actual?!?!? Stay away from this money sucking horrible service department

Business response:

Frank would like to speak with you regarding any issues you are experiencing with your Jetta to see how we may assist. Please contact our Service Manager Frank Cheyney at 602-265-6600 at your earliest convenience.

Sure would be nice if Frank ever returned calls. I don't feel my business is important to Camelback VW, so I'll be getting my brakes (and all future repairs) done elsewhere. Isn't maintenance/service where dealerships make the majority of their money? Thumbs down, y'all deserve zero stars. Update to my update. Got "premium breaks" put on elsewhere, and saved over $200!

Business response:

Charles, we'd like to go over our findings along with your warranty coverage with you directly. At your earliest convenience, please contact Frank, Service Manager, at 602-265-6600. Thank you.
