Company contract is different then what they say Is covered when they sale you the police. They don't tell you all the hidden things they don't cover. When they tell you major parts are covered like engine, transmission, electronics. Alot of hidden things in the contract that you don't know until you need to file a claim. I bought a warranty from Carchex on 8/6/2019 for $3,415.50. This is a two fold review and complaint. I’ve been trying to cancel for a refund for almost 2 years now!! Still unresolved with no phone calls back or responses to emails to cancel my policy. You can’t cancel it online, you can’t even login to your account to see your policy because that page is a broken link and has been since I’ve been trying to cancel. 1). I took my car to the IMPORT MINDED mechanic after my car showed Engine Check. Upon inspection, the dealer concluded that the following to be replaced: 1/Valve Cover Gasket Set 2/Valve Cover Gasket Set 3/Oil Filter 4/Sark Plug DILZKR7A11G 5/Direct Ignition Coil Stick Coil 6/Air Intake Hose The shop also requested shop supplies The total cost of the repairs and labor was $961.56, but CARCHEX paid only $288.51. High pressure salespeople call every day if you contact them. They always quote their most expensive plan and every time they call they “find additional savings” that drops the cost $100 or so (off total price). They quote you with a down payment and monthly payment, but as the total price goes down the length of payments goes up. Their sales tactics make me wary of their customer service. I had to call and tell them to put me on their do not call list - I told them I would call them later but they don’t honor that.

Dont share your info with them. I've requested many times to stop being contacted and continue to get calls daily for something I don't want. This company continues to harass me.

Very poor in service and commitment They don't honor the dealer repairs cost on parts and labor. Dealers like Toyota will not work with carchex because they always argue over part prices and labor costs.

Awful. Avoid at all costs or it will cost you. Was completely misled by sales guy when I originally purchased my extended warranty with 70K on my truck. He told me 100K or 60 months FROM THE TIME OF PURCHASE...whichever came first. Even said "yes, 170K or 60 months." Then, my truck hit 100K and they told me my policy lapsed. A total bait and switch tactic that stole $2,500 of my hard working money. These guys are thieves. If I could give them a zero I would. This company will ABSOLUTELY deceive you out of your money. I started a claim and they found reason after reason for denial and they are all FALSE. They first accused me of pre existing conditions and after that was proven to be false they AGAIN have denied due to an exhaust that came with my vehicle that had absolutely nothing to do with the claim nor is barred from the warranty as it meets oem specifications. In my opinion, AVOID THIS COMPANY, I purchased the ultimate plan asking to have everything covered, but the very first time I attempted to fil a claim, they said that piece wasn't covered!!!!!! I had Electrical systems covered, but they would pay for fixing the media center, which is part of Electrical in my book....only give a 1 star because it wouldn't let me give a negative...
