I just purchased 2nd auto warranty from CarChex about 6 days ago after I bought the 1st auto warranty about 3 month ago. So far, my experience is positive. They are willing to work with me to offer auto warranty prices on both of my cars. I am happy with the offering. I have recommended them to my family.

When setting up my account, as well as eventually cancelling the policy, the process was professional and easy. The policy itself didn't cover what I had asked, and the wording of the exclusions was such that I did not feel that any of the common problems that occur with my vehicle were not covered. The policy, as explained to me by the company that handles their claims, did not cover many events until they were catastrophic, and I felt that the policy was not for me. Good plans available. Prices a bit higher than some others but A+ rating with good customer reviews. Would use them again if price could be negotiated a little.

Just Finished talking about a plan with Ferguson Ext 1-2-02 Excellent Service. I am shopping between coverages between ********* and Carchex. It is extremely difficult since is so much information and details. He was professional enough to walk me through a side to side comparison and guiding me trough pross and cons of both companies. He even pointed out what the competitor may be better. His plan seems to be a bit more expensive but the coverage seems to be more honest to the consumer. I was very hesitant about buying this warranty. But to my surprise, everything went smoothly when it came to using the warranty for repairs. And when I eventually sold the car, Carchex sent me a refund for the prorated difference. It did take just over 60 days to get it but I received it none the less. My only complaint was during the sales call. The rep told me that the warranty I was purchasing was "bumper to bumper". When I received my contract in the mail, it turned out that was not true.
