Recently purchased a policy and was lied to about what all it initials. They don't cover the things they say that they do. It's a waste of your money. Save your money and go elsewhere. If I could give them zero stars I would.

SCAMMERS....MY FORD NEEDED A TORQUE CONVERTER AND REPLACED IT UNDER THEIR WARRANTY. WHEN IT FAILED AGAIN, NOW UNDER CARCHEX WARRANTY, THEY DENIED THE CLAIM CITING THAT I VIOLATED THE 30 DAY WAITING PERIOD WHEN I HAD THE FIRST REPAIR DONE. WHATTTTT ?? I NEVER FILED A CLAIM WITH THEM THE FIRST TIME ANDDDD THEIR CONTRACT SAID THEY WOULD NOT HAVE COVERED IT ANYWAY SINCE IT WAS STILL UNDER FORD WARRANTY.....JUST LOOKING FOR ANY EXCUSE TO STICK IT TO YA. SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR REPAIRS.

Spent over 6 hours on the phone with the contract provider (allegiance, now known as "renascent" only for them to deny the claim after an unreasonable request of full teardown of the transmission, with no guarantee on timeline This is after numerous attempts at getting a clear and consistent answer on the matter Some other key issues: 1. Absolute frauds! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I spoke with a man named Steve yesterday yesterday about a warranty for my vehicle. He quoted me for 60 months and 125,000 miles. After reviewing the terms and conditions of the contract, I called back today and spoke to Sara to purchase the agreement. After some discussion she quoted a 48 month / 125,000 miles warranty at a lower price. She ran my credit card for the policy and sent the final agreement. I am relatively new to CarChex having had my policy for four months. My Ford F150 was put in the local Ford dealership for engine repairs two weeks ago. The service manager has tried countless to get someone at CarChex to answer the phone in order to start a claim. In reading the CarChex reviews today on the BBB website, it appears that CarChex receives only two types of reviews. Requested cancellation of the contract immediately after discovering I could not meet the terms and conditions of the service contract (having no service records or maintenance history of the used truck...). The customer service person I spoke to was rude and ignored my request, and repeatedly kept trying to tell me the terms of the contract were not applicable, so I called customer service again, and got hung up on... Not a service company worth even 1 star!

Carchex, total scam!! beware. After my first claim I no longer get calls returned, payments made to repair shop or reimbursements for moey I had to pay repair shop. eight seven seven two two seven two four three nine Jamal at ext 1125 will not answer emails, calls or return calls for weeks on end. Car hex has literally scammed me with there fake cover all parts warranty they look for ways not to pay I get a 3800$ bill for radiator parts n service they offered too pay 1500$ towards it leaving me with a remaining balance of 2300$ Smh.
