To me Auto Extended Warranties are nothing but a scam. When and if you have a problem, you find out that there are exceptions to everything making the coverage worthless. As far as I am concerned they are stealing our money for B.S. You have to read the fine print and believe me they will not cover the repairs that are necessary.

RUN AWAY!!! I bought the most expensive "Titanium" package (supposedly soup to nuts with exceptions) because I owned an expensive car and then denied a claim because the electrical wiring part called a "cord" wasn't explicitly named in the contract - but it wasn't in the exceptions either! COMPLETE FRAUD and I'm planning to sue.

I purchased a contract with Carchex on 8/16/22 the Centennial Plan with waiting period of 30 days & 1000 miles. I have a 2015 Chevy Suburban mileage 131,491. On 10/16/2022 while driving on the interstate my engine light came on and truck started losing speed. Took my truck to a chevy dealership, where I purchased my truck, they stated I needed a transmission. I filed a claim my mileage was 133,611 which is 2,120 miles. THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR 4 YEARS NOW TO GET MY REFUND BACK FROM THEM AFTER THE CAR WAS STOLEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES 4 YEARS HAVE GONE BUY AND YOU CANNOT EVEN GET A HUMAN BEING ON THE PHONE OR IF YOU ARE LUCKY TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE YOU ARE IMMEDIATELY DISCONNECTED AND THEY DO NOT CALL YOU BACK THEY DESERVE A NEGATIVE 100 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reviews are very consistent--you're treated like royalty when signing up to give them thousand of dollars but when you try to use the warranty-they won't do much for you. I had a lawyer review the language in the contract and it comes to some parsing of words and purposefully vague language that gives them an out when a repair is required. I recently signed up for their Titanium level package for my 2018 BMW 640 GT. I had the same for my 2015 535 for over a year and a half but never had to use it. Had an issue with my window regulators which was covered under their policy. Took it to BMW and followed their process. Inspector had to come to review twice. Apparently seeing that they did not work was not enough. Had panels pulled off and regulators reviewed and was approved by the inspector. Subsequently was denied by the adjuster. I ordered a vehicle inspection with them. I do not think they ever had any intentions of doing the inspection. They charge $25 to cancel the inspection they never did. This should be illegal.

CARCHEX/ Provider ********************* IF I COULD GIVE MINUS STARS I WOULD! MY VERY FIRST AUTO CLAIM AND HAD BEEN PAYING SINCE 6/3/2022 AND GOING TO CANCEL ASAP ON ALL VEHCILES!!
