I had a $100.00 Ded. on my Carchex contract. Had a breakdown, The repair was $4,500.00. They denied my claim. After six weeks of fighting with them they paid a portion of it. I had to pay over $2,600.00. Anybody that gives Carchex any money will be sorry they ever heard of them.
I am not happy with there company I requested a cancelation and refund. They processed the cancelation over the phone then began telling me that they can't control ******* and I would have to mail in a letter to request a refund. They got some vary sketchy business practices and there emails show up under my spam I my email. They are not reputable at all and don't understand how they are still operating

I bought the warranty in Feb, in May my car needed transmission service. I took it *****, then A ^& Z, then to Joe P****** all were so uncomfortable to deal with this company and told me our experience with them they going to request a check after a check until you give up. Absolutely horrible experience. I asked three specific questions regarding the use of original parts, was the labor rate that of the market and dealer and do they pay with a credit credit. I received a yes to all three questions and recently brought my car in for a repair. They would not authorize new parts, they wanted to use used parts.......the labor rate was not agreed upon they would pay about 60% and obviously never got to payment. My car sat for two days. I purchased a 2013 Chevy equinox. The motor went out. I had to wait 3.5weeks to receive an answer. then they wouldn't cover the motor after I was told several times that they were replacing the motor with a reman. This is the WORSE company. They lied to me and lied to the dealership. The dealership tried multiple times to contact Carchex throughout the 3.5 weeks. They continued to lie to the dealership. Just purchased a 2014 37k mile vehicle and wanted to get information on an extended warranty. Called and spoke to a representative of Carchex. He quoted me 1 price of $3500. When asked if that was the only coverage, he was very rude and said, "is it the price? I mean, it's our titanium coverage and covers bumper to bumper on an 8 year old vehicle. Worst experience with whatever this program is. I would not call it an extended warranty and the notion of a vehicle service program is overstated. There calculation average repair rate does not even come close to any certified repair shop. Both dealers and any good independent repair shop charge more than what CARCHEX promises to cover ($100 dollars labor). I was told CARCHEX only recommends OEM parts, but in practice, they recommended using cheaper or even refurbished parts for my repair. It is better to save your money an... read more
