I just moved to Pittsburgh and am looking for a new vet and the whole experience has just made me realize how much I loved Caring Hands. Look - they're expensive; they're in Arlington! But overall, I really think Caring Hands is top quality care and totally worth every penny. First of all, I never really had a problem with wait times - 15 min. max? My dog had an anaphylactic reaction in the past to his rabies vaccine. It was pretty intense. I don't usually emote but that day in 2010, I did. Today, I had Dr. Jessica Garcia. She was great! Sometimes I can be intense when it comes to my family and my pet. Dr. Garcia was very compassionate and did not take offense to my intensity. This was our first visit to Caring Hands. We couldn't be more pleased. Three of our friends use C.H. for thier dogs, and they each highly recomended this vet. We were hesitant to try it, since we were spoiled with our previous vet in St. Louis. It was a mobile vet that came to our house, even on holidays at last minute notice. Probably the best animal hospital in the area. Great vets, facility and location. Didn't really cared for the help desk, didn't even looked at me when I was standing and waiting for 3 minutes in front of them. Little customer service training would help. Other than that, definitely recommend this place. They even call back next day to make sure our pets were doing better and if we had any questions.

My wife and I have been clients of theirs since 2009. Even after we made our move to MD we still make the trek to Arlington to take our pets to Caring Hands. I cannot say enough great things about them. They have handled every situation with care and professionalism. From the normal check up to putting our old dog down. Thanks for all that you have done and continue to do for our family.

Dr. Jefferey Newman came to my apartment for "in home euthanasia" of my dog. He was extremely sympathetic and never made me feel like he was "going through the motions" as I can imagine some vets may be. Very well done and helped me through this difficult time.

I just became a client in December 2011 with my 13 year old lab. We went for a senior wellness exam, but due to existing health issues visited this hospital four more times over the course of the following couple of months. The facility is clean and bright and the front desk staff is very friendly. I had brief waits on occasion, but when I came for urgent care appts. I got in very quickly. Have never had a vet experience like it. They are soooo genuinely caring and helpful. Just got our first dog and have had a few "learning experiences." They are so patient here, and they follow up each visit with a phone call. They are not cheap, but no vets around here are. I'd bet they're on the low end of prices in this area. I called after our dog drank some hot cocoa and they didn't try to force us to come in. Gave some good advice over the phone, which I really appreciated. UPDATED: My cat is now also under the care of Dr. Jane Morse, who combines modern veterinary care with holistic therapies. Dr. Morse and Caring Hands have been working together to extend the length and qualify of life for my cat since he was diagnosed with lymphoma at Caring Hands two years ago. Although Dr. Morse is not employed by Caring Hands, the hospital staff have done a wonderful job working in cooperation with Dr. Morse to provide me with convenient access to lab work and fluids when needed.
