Interesting experience. Called for an estimate on recessed lighting and undercounter lights. This company will give you an estimate over the phone but will charge for the estimate if they come out. Was hoping to have an expert tell me what I would need as far as numbers of recessed lights etc. Anyway I'm moving on to someone else who is more helpful. Must be nice that they are so busy they don't need the work.D

I decided they were not the kind of company I wanted to do business with EVER
We had a plan with them to come out once a month and we have been emailing and calling for 2 months and haven't rec'd a call back or an email.
The technician came and immediately indicated that installing the recessed light fixture will take more than 2 hours. I asked him to proceed and he installed charging for three and half hours plus materials. In our family room, he proceeded to switch out the light switch but it did not work. I asked him to re-install the old one and he could not. A very poor job done. I have already sent in my review oin this work and do not understand why AngiesList would ask for it again.
I asked what it would cost to make some general repairs and upgrades, including some specific projects such as installing overhead lights. What I got was something like... "Well...everything we do is time and materials and it just depends." It seemed an odd response to me so I pressed further. I called to set up an appointment. An operator asked for my contact information so someone could call me later. I never received a return call. I am going to use someone else who was recommended by a friend. I only joined Angie's List for this one project and now I am not getting any benefit from it. I will not be able to recommend Angie's List because my experience has been that the highly rated providers are too busy.
