Lied to and Overpriced Misled and lied to by sales representative ******* *****. I had bids from **** ****t and *****for 4k less. I didn't go with them since they sub out install and *******confirmed they don't use subs they use Champion trained employees. If we would have known this, we wouldn't have signed with them. We've had bad experience with subs and you don't know their background or training. They also measured windows too short and didn't measure from outside to get the correct overall measurement. Champion windows has terrible service and customer services. I ordered ********************** in September, 2024. In March of 2025 most of windows were installed but some had service issues which were not addressed until August 2025. In addition one of the 12 windows was never installed because of a broken pane. At that time I was told it would be reordered and installed in a few weeks. As of September 2025 all the windows have yet to be installed. Unfortunately, while I am happy with the product itself, my experiences with customer service have been awful. I'll state it succinctly but in a nutshell, I had an issue following my initial estimate/quote which I signed and then was told it was increasing due to their mistake in how they wrote up my bay window. I ended up getting that resolved and keeping the price the same but it took a lot of contacting higher up to regional level (I had to find the contacts myself). I had windows Installed 2 yrs. Going on 3. The company *************************. The company who took over their clients is Champion Windows. I was told by ****** that they would be here today. Tuesday the 2 nd. I received no phone calls back from ******. Also a no show today. I have her phone number. The windows that were installed are sweating between both panes of glass. I have been trying for months to get this problem resolved.
I trusted [HAH] Champion Windows to install two exterior doors with screens in my home. I made a $7,000 'good-faith' down payment in the beginning of June 2025. They were to have completed the installation within the week. I have not seen or heard from them since [it is NOW August 22nd]. I've phoned, emailed, texted, I even drove from the neighboring COUNTY to the listed showroom on their website, only to find it was an ENTIRELY different business at that address (?!?). Please give your money to another contractor. Pick someone else. Champion makes a lot of mistakes. This rating system required me to enter at lest one star. Zero stars in not an option. Due to my budget, I had my windows and doors replaced over time, not all at once. I continued to use them so that everything matched. We had orders show up with the wrong color, incorrect size or measurements, back orders, recalls, warranties etc. I have been repeatedly ignored as a customer. My sliding door needs service as it is not tracking properly and it is very difficult to close. I went through all the steps on their website and sent pics and even the copy of the yellow label on the door that has all of the information on the order. After waiting a week I got an email -- with no name to it, saying that they need a copy of my initial contract, without it they won't service my door. So much for lifetime warranty. I am escalating.
In fall of 2023 we purchased three large windows with installation from Champion. Each window consists of 4 separate vertical lites in frames. The two center frames are stationary and the two outer frames are casement on each window. After install we noticed that the stationary frames are a different color than the casement frames. Not only that, but all the screens, as well as the interiors of the windows are scratched and damaged.
