On Feb.21, 2022 I had a salesman come to my home about a sunroom. We signed a contract for $41,262 for which I paid $14,000 down and was given a 22-26 week lead time to start an approximate 1 week job. After 13 weeks I got a call from salesman and was told they needed to change contract because of building code which I was OK with but 22-26 weeks would start over from that date and also found out there was other things he couldn't deliver on that he promised originally. My project with Champion has become a nightmare. In a nutshell, read every letter of your contract and absolutely do not trust your salesperson. I feel I was fast talked into signing and later trapped even deeper in a bad deal by a lying salesman. Now Im stuck in a contract that does not include a sliding door like it was supposed to. Ive called customer service twice. Don't listen to any of the good reviews, they are all by customers who get a discount to post good things. The process is annoying and they are difficult to work with. They quoted us for replacing all of our windows and then they stated that they couldn't make the window they quoted after we had already signed a contract and paid 50% of the total cost. Very poor service. Very disappointed. We signed our contract in October 2021 and no one has called us back to schedule installation. Its over 7 months now. After contacting them every week there is a standard reply I get a the field manager will get in touch with you next week. Our sunroom was supposed to be installed in January then it got changed without any updates to us to March and now we are in May. Please beware if you make purchase with this company, not worth it!
This business should be out of business. The warranty means nothing. They do not back up their product. We had issues with window seal leaks. I've been trying for 2 years with no resolution. I haven't even been able to get anyone to call me back. Apparently many others have had similar issues plus many more issues. It was a ****** learned for us to check out a business thoroughly. Do not make the same mistake we did. Do not use this business.
New door and side panels installed in 2014. Spent approx. $7,000 on the door with promises that the paint would be good for 10 years. The door took many months to get in and no one communicating to us the reasons. Door installed and it was the wrong door, missing decorative shelf. New door took many months to come in. Fast forward to September 2020 and the door had swollen and it was hard to open and close. Requested someone come out and take a look. This cost me $99. Champion Siding *********** is TERRIBLE. Heres why,Ripped off siding on my house, that was not to be done.Cut my cable service lines while putting up the siding, then covered them.NO Communication.Crews worked every other day, didnt care if your house was exposed to rain.I had to call cable company to get the job finished. Still have wires from ATT hanging from home.The stress of doing business with Champion Windows and Siding ** is not worth it.They will tell you one thing and do another. Steer clear.
We purchased windows from this business - we did our due diligence and received a variety of quotes. We chose Champion because of how the window construction was shared with us. The windows were installed last August and we have been terribly disappointed in the customer service related to the install. We specifically asked if the installers were employees of Champion - we were told they were only to find out that they were sub contractors.
