I signed a contract with them for a Storm Door and a Patio Door with a Dog Door in it. The next day someone came out to measure and stated they could not match the key locks to my existing House Key. I stated that it was in the contract. The Rep then stated, if it's in the contract that is what you will get. We had new windows and 2 sliding doors replaced in Oct. They did not have all the materials to complete the job. We were told that they would be back before Thanksgiving to finish the job. It is now July and the job has still not be completed. We have been emailing and calling the two reps that we worked with for the project with no results. I have been calling since November 2019 to get warranty work on my mom's windows. Today is July 14, 2020. Most of the time I get a recording that says to leave a message and they will call back in 24 to 48 hours but I have never receive a call back. I have talked to a person twice and they said the same but I still have not received a call back. What good is a lifetime warranty if no one honors it?
This is our second claim on Champion windows purchased less than 5 years ago. Two years after installment, we had a window begin leaking badly that required constant attention in every rain. Took nearly three months of jacking around to get that window replaced on warranty. Now, three weeks ago, two more windows began leaking badly just like the first. I ordered two replacement windows approx. 6 wks ago. I'm in Toney, AL but rec. a call from a lady who gave her name as Sally in Louisville, KY and she stated windows in and wanted to set up install date. This was left on my voice mail. Called back 2 times and each time had to wait 10 - 15 minutes to get a recording saying Sally not avail, leave a message. Third time I called got a recording saying that number was disconnected. We have a roof leak. We called and got someone out here to look at it a week later and he couldn’t find anything. He said he would come out and seal likely places. TWO WEEKS LATER after calling them 4 times to find out where this guy was and when he was going to show up we get someone else who says he found the leak but doesn’t have the materials to fix it. This company is unethical and predatory in its pricing practices, lacks integrity and has demonstrated that they care very little about customer service. Do not do business with this company!!! Huge rip-off! I paid over $5K for two patio doors to be installed and they did a horrible job. Multiple appointments were scheduled and no one showed up. When they did finally do the work the doors were not put in properly and wind was blowing through them, they cracked tile on my floor, the doors were crooked, there were big gaps at the top of both doors, the paint around the doors were horrible, and the doors would not close and lock smoothly.
