Choice Home Warranty (CHW) has been invaluable. Since purchasing our new home in 2022, we have encountered various issues with our AC, garbage disposal, dishwasher, washer, dryer, and plumbing. Choice Home Warranty has consistently provided assistance. Although there were occasional delays in dispatching a technician. I would not hesitate to recommend their services.
Absolute scam. They will shamelessly take your money and decline when the time comes to replace or make major repairs to the equipment covered under home warranty plan. They rejected the claim to replace my AC compressor stating that proper maintenance was not carried out leading to failure. However the compressor is over 35 years old and without proper maintenance it would not have lasted this long. What a waste of money, time and energy. They wont cover a thing. They wont pay a ***** for any repairs. ****** had ac for a month going on two months in the middle of the summer. No urgency, no care, cant wait to be done with them completely.
I put in online that I wanted a quote for a home warranty. I was called within a minute by a sales man from the company. I told him multiple times I needed an email and to talk with my husband. He was incredibly pushy, but sent the email. I was contact by three more sales people within less than 6 hours. The last person was rude and pushy. When I said no and hung up the phone he called back and was even more rude and pushy and said i was going to give you a good deal and now Im not. The worst experience I have ever had with a Home Warranty!! Choice Home Warranty couldn't get someone to look at my furnace that was compromised for over 2 months!! Everyone they attempted to send to my house canceled with me to and told me that they don't work with Choice Home Warranty. When someone finally came, he was very sketchy at best. He didn't have any of the equipment to do the work and then lied to me multiple times. I will be shouting from the rooftops about how terrible this company is!!!
NEGATIVE0 I have been with Choice Warranty for over 10 years. They have progressively been consistent with lying about fixing my small and major appliances. They will not fix my A/C leakage, only sending out a service tech to fill it with Freon for 4 years sighting that my AC has to go completely out. I should have checked here first...what a nightmare! Water dispenser in refrigerator is leaking since Jan 10th 2024. Yep Choice takes my money but did not provide service. After reading their reviews on this site I won't even bother to go into detail, it's the same non- performance.
They were great back in 2020 and now you cant even speak to a live person anymore. Just email and phone prompts. This is the second time *** reached out to him in two months and can never get a service guy Directed by direction. But they just keep taking my monthly payments each month
