I had Choice warranty for 2years and even referred some other people. My refrigerator been broken for 2months now. In the summer time with a baby.Even the technician I dnt know what the help is wrong with this thing I have called screamed, plaided, cried. Nothing seems to get them to fix it. Always have an excuse. Its terrible that companies like choice warranty get to ripped off hard earnings from people and no one does anything about it. I only have 1 claim. Worst company ever my AC went out last week, my home is just 5 years old and their 48 hour someone will be in contact with you isnt valid, I got an email and text stating it would be a week and a day before someone would come out, I had ask could I get my own contractor and was told no and an email stating I wouldnt be reimbursed, long story short I got my own Certified HVAC contractor who came out the next day. Canceling Choice as Im typing. Had to give 1 star because 0 isnt an option!

Filed a claim on 3rd week of May, they send a guy after 2wks to check my AC. The guy cant diagnose the problem, he came aback again after a week, still cant find the problem of my AC. They sent another company after 2 weeks, finally he found the problem and sent it to choice home warranty. They approved the claim after few days but I need to shoulder $7300+. Unprofessional customer service and incompetent technicians. It is very difficult to get any claims resolved as they stall or create excuses or convolute the issue. For example my hot water tank failed on June 8th. Technician came days later, never tested the hot water heater and claimed it was an electrical issue. It was not. The heating element was corroded which also corroded the tank. He never removed the plate to see the obvious corrosion. Are toilet cracked and was leaking, they said it was normal wear and tear (lol that's a new, that mean everything in house) so really what do you cover? The appointment we had the first time NEVER showed, second time 11:00 - 3:00 .showed up 6:45. Spent less than 5 minutes and left.

I spoke to a sales person and he assured me that anytime I called I would have a tech out within 48 hours.I called them after having the contract forv6 months due to a broken washer and they could not have a tech come out for 4 days.Unacceptable!I called and customer service was unhelpful.I spoke to the resolution **** and they offered a solution of me paying out of pocket and submitting for refund. Zero stars if I could give it. First, their customer service is HORRIBLE. Second, they don't return calls in a timely manner, they didn't pay for a claim but provided the wrong explanation-- and refused to stated exactly where in the policy agreement it explicitly states it was our fault. I have been trying to cancel my account since March of this year. No one will cancel the account or give me an active person to speak with to cancel the account. I have sent emails to the info@choicewarranty email address, no one responds. In order to stop them from drafting my account when they continued to ignore my cancellation requests, I changed my debit card and refuse to update the account. I filed a claim on 8 July 24, on my leaking water heater. They sent a technician out on 10 July 24, at 7:30 pm. I dont know if he was a plumber or not. He took a picture of the area that was leaking. I paid him the service charge and he left. He was in his POV. Said he would send information to CHW. A leaking water heater seems important to me. I am paying a monthly fee.
