Choice Home Warranty says they can be contacted 24 hours a day that is not true. I called them on Tuesday July 9th 2024 to put in a claim which was automated. I called on Wednesday July 10th 2024 at 7:00 am, 8:00 am, and 9:00 then you had to put in your number then someone calls you back. From 9:00 am until today July 12th I still have not heard back from them for someone to fix my AC. I told them that temps are at 89 degrees and my children has asthma. The company keeps sending techs who overcharge va the contracted 60$ service fee. Along with stating I should allow one who is threatening me to come in to my home. They refuse to cancel the contract despite breach of contract for overcharge of service fees. The cancellation person told me the techs can up the charge and their is nothing that can be done about it so your contract price is useless

*********************************, **: 07/12/2024 I signed up with what they say is the #1 home warranty (Choice Home Warranty). It is a JOKE. They DO NOT have any technicians in the ******, ** area but 1 and that one is sub standard at best. I'm a senior citizen and my air condition went out at the beginning of the summer in 2024 when the temperature was from 93 to 99. As of today it has been out for 2 weeks. I would give zero stars if possible. We made the brutal mistake of purchasing warranties from Choice Home Warranty on (3) of our properties. We did so purely based on cost. In the past 7 months, we have had the unfortunate luck of dealing with Choice for each of these properties at least once. On one property, we had a power surge due to the smartmeter on the house having a fault. PG&E came to replace the Smartmeter. choice warranty is dubious. They collect money from you but do not fulfill the warranty terms. They are stealing money from people. I have called them for Three warranty services and they declined every one. currently, I am fighting for a refund of every money I paid up to date

Year long customer. My experience with ********************** has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. From the outset, their lack of care and effort to assist customers has been glaringly apparent. Their BBB rating is a 1.04 Star rating at the time of this post. Scam! Fraud!I bought a plan which covered the home warranty including HVAC via my friend as reference. After 2 months of purchase, I requested for a technician to fix HVAC which was not cooling. The Freon was low and was recommended by the technician. Choice warranty did not approve and paid $75 for the technician still without the problem being addressed as he said he still needs to be paid for diagnostics which was like 7 to 10 minutes of work. This is the absolute worst warranty insurance company. They make promises up front that they dont keep when you actually need them. Complete scam artist! They deny claims for reasons that are absolute BS. Schedule resolution calls for weeks out so your stuck with your broken appliance for weeks, even air conditions. Strong arm you in every which way. I purchased a Choice Home Warranty for my home and paid extra money so that my pool the pumps the heater and everything was covered. When It came time to file a claim, I was told that the heater heat pump was not included in the warranty and I had no claim. I was lied to by the salesman that sold me the policy.
