Horrible customer service, continually calls, disrupts my business while I am working all because I made the mistake of requesting a quote to place on a home I listed for sale. I purchased a home warranty from someone else and this company will not STOP calling me. I have attempted to explain this was a one time quote call only,( not even a purchase), and to please remove me from their phone list. I took out a policy believing that they would do what they said. My dishwasher stopped working and I was ready to hold up my side of the bargain which was to pay someone $85 to come and diagnose the problem and then they would provide service within 72 hours and fix or replace the dishwasher. Not only were they unable to get someone out to diagnose the problem, I had to do that myself. The machine could not be fixed and the recommendation was to replace it. This company is unbelievable, they raised their rates, send unreliable technicians who do shoddy work. They are difficult to contact when there is an issue, pass you around from one agent to another to no avail.I have tried to contact someone regarding cancelling my policy, have been given the runaround for two weeks. I bought a policy from Choice Home Warranty in May of 2023. I needed to call them and have them come out and check my air conditioner unit. The first guy came out twice and couldn't figure out what was wrong. He told me that he would not be coming back. This company sent him from 2 hours away. They then sent another guy who lived 2 1/2 hours away who said that there were "no mechanical problems, no repairs needed or recommended. We have had this warranty company since 2019. We have found their policies favoring them instead of the customer. Above all, their techs appear to be wanting and CW forces these apparent unqualified and unincorporated techs down the throat if the customer. The initial tech a plumber thought he was a metallurgist in determining that a copper drain pipe failed due to corrosion and not wear out. Other techs were not from the *** area. I have a contract with Choice Home Warranty (CHW) for home appliances. On 06/30/2024, our Central A/C stopped working. Choice home warranty, goes out of there way not to cover, my claim was denied because they said I did not keep up with maintenance, on my air-conditioner/cooler, greasing etc, but I have a top of the line unit it requires very little maintenance almost none breezeair ext

This has to be the worst customer service I've ever had. I got the service after being told they were reliable and work. My 1st claim was denied I spoke with a handful of representatives and they could not help. Despite having proof of my conversation they Still denied any accountability. This company is taking people's money and denying claims. This is awful!

I have a policy which covers water heaters. I submitted a claim on 6/28/2024. The technician came out after receiving my $75.00 fee and indicated that indeed the water heater needs replacing and by the way we need an additional $540.00 for excluded work. The policy states excluded items as follows:EXCLUDED: Fuel tanks. Secondary holding or storage tanks. Vents. Flues. Thermal expansion tanks. ***************** systems.
