AC unit went out called them on the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend had 5 techs come here no fix yet first tech fried the compressor now we have nothing probably gonna have to get a lawyer the worst customer service and that is at best not a very happy customer at all company should have to pay all the money I am out and I am still paying them and a 1 star is giving them to much credit dont waste your money folks

Horrible customer service. We have had issues in the Air-Conditioning unit since 06/24/2024. I filed a claim online, and the company assigned us a technician who would come on 07/17/2024. At this time of year, when it's super hot, we live in heat. I called multiple times to discuss it, but there was no response. I also emailed customer care, but there was no responsewaste of money.

Purchased a warranty for approx.$2,000.00, it clearly states after reading contract thoroughly that it covers all parts and labor for replacing a hot water tank, Paid ***** to access it, and the serviceman said it was leaking and needed replacing. 2 weeks later I get a email from CHW stating I needed to pay ****** for additional parts. Literally it was removing 2 supply lines and unscrew the gas line, 30 min.tops! Have been a customer for 4 months. The sales person guaranteed me that a tech would be of service within 48 hours when an issue arises. I submitted a claim and heard back from a tech 24 hours later that they would be coming Five days later. They gave me no options, just told me when they were coming which happens to be in the middle of my work week. When you call regarding an existing claim, no one picks up. They give you an option to get a call back, but no one does. They only pick up if you call sales and they wont or cant... read more

Choice Home Warranty's pool/spa coverage is misleading. I'm inclined to believe that they are selling pool/spa coverage without having technicians, vetted or otherwise, to diagnose claims. Since the ****** of 2023, the company has not be able to provide a technician to confirm the diagnosis of repair needed to our multi-port valve. Since it was the end of the season, we closed our pool, with the intention of revisiting this issue this ****** (May 2024). Have a issue with my HVAC system for four plus weeks. Submitted request to Choice Home Warranty and was told that they could NOT find a technician in the area and that I could get my own technician. I had two technicians to check my system and they both had the same response, need new system, current system is 25 years old, can't be repaired, parts no longer available. We were provided one year with Choice Home Warranty when we bought our home 4 years ago and renewed for another 3 years. We were reasonably satisfied until fairly recently. In the last 2 months, we have had 2 service technicians sent to our home who were questionable, at best. As a senior, I assume a home warranty complany has vetted who they send to me. I had home choice warranty for a year. I made a claim on 12-30-2023. Finally got a technician in June. Technician came out found the problem and stated it needed to most likely be replaced. Got a call stating that they would not cover the cracked water line because the damage was visual. Some hidden exclusion in the contract... that right. A covered product cant have any visual damage to be fixed. Then the manufacturer requires a part to be replaced together. This company is a joke! What a nightmare.had a terrible experience with them,I filed a claim to fix my AC unit on June 29, 2024 first available is two weeks later July 12,2024. So spoke with ******* , she said she is a Sup. She authorized me to have option to hire local technician not from choice to do the work and upload the diagnostic to the choice website and Ill get reimbursed later.
