If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Please do research and find a different company. Living in ******* in the summer has alot of challenges, among this is the difficulties the heat causes to electrical components. I live in a house with 4 children, 2 dogs, and a terminally ill family member. One of my a/c systems failed, in which I put in a service request. On June 27th, 2024, I filed a claim regarding an issue with my refrigerator. A claim number was issued, and a tech was scheduled, by CHOICE Home Warranty, to ********** Services, aka AE. Im dropping CHOICE because their communication process resulted in its unreasonable denial of a legitimate claim. Heres what happenedMy water heating appliance stopped working. Outside temps were around freezing and an immediate fix was needed. I submitted a claim for the water heater thinking that was appropriate. I have choice home warranty from 2022. Reported 5 different claims so far.Claim No 1 - Shower faucet is leaking - Choice service technician came and asked me to order the parts by myself so he can fix it. Escalated the issue. As it is my first claim choice sent different service contractor and they got all the parts and fixed the issue.2. Dishwasher leaking water - Bought this dishwasher in 2018. It has been a month since my ac died. The only thing Choice can tell me is that they have sent emails to the technician. When I call that company, I get an automated system. I spend money and expect results, yet here I am melting in the summer heat with nothing to show for my hard earned money. I have a neighbor who had the same thing happen and their ac was fixed within a week. They have a different warranty company. Claims are Not handled.My resolution for air conditioner is for the past 3 weeks and yet no response It is all online and you see the same standard message all the time. Contact by phone, system takes the call back number and never received a call yet They have asked me to pay for portion of the money which I did few weeks back too This is horrible, I am spending money on hotel to escape the heat
UNBELIVABLE! I can assure you this is the most frustrating company to work with. I truly believe they must pay bonuses to their employees to figure ways to deny a claim. They override a serviceman that has been out to your home and diagnosed the problem and put their (Choice) explanation of the issue. And, oh by the way, that is the basis for denying the claim. Had them come out to repair the dispenser flap on my refrigerator, serviceman found a defective solenoid that was the problem. Had to order the part. Also found there... read more
