Do not get Choice as a warranty company. My ac went out I have 2 units. I didnt know what was wrong with them. I had the first guy come out and put freon in my upstairs unit. The first guy told me to put in another claim for the other unit. The second guy said my 2nd unit was a peexisting condition. WHAT? The unit wasnt cooling on the day I filed my claim. Horrible service! I have been beyond patient! For 7 days I have gotten the run around . They sent a technician out to fix my air conditioner from leaking extremely bad and no air flowing . When the technician left the unit begin to leak double the amount of water and air still not flowing. I called tech back and he keeps telling me he is coming but when it comes time for him to come he doesnt show. Then I call to see what is going on he tells me to call his wife , the wife tells me to call his daughter ?? and it keeps going ... read more

Choice Home warranty salesman persuaded me to purchase their plan on 4/23/2024. The contract would start on 5/23. However they charged my card immediately on 4/23, which should start charge on 5/23.On 6/6, my tenants found water leaking from the white water pipe around the **** unit. The warranty company sent an ** technician (GENXPRO HEATING AIR Com) here. The technician collected $75 first and then said the warranty did not cover it because I need a whole new **/**** system which costed >$12k. However the ** unit still was... read more

this home warranty company is a sham. they collect your monthly payments but when its time for repair and you put in a claim, they delay you for over a month so that you either get frustrated with them and do it yourself, or if you still wait for them, they find a stupid reason to deny the claim.horrible company

I filed a claim for my Refrigerator at the beginning of June and to this day my appliance has NOT been fixed. On my choice home warranty portal it stated that I have to pay $***** for mandatory modifications. Aljanabi LLC was assigned to come out and diagnose the problem..now this is where the problem starts. After the diagnose had been done I was told by ******** to call ** and let them know my compressor and my filter dryer needed to be replaced. Keep in mind this was done between June 1st - 4th. If I could give zero stars I would. If you have any emergency repairs DO NOT go with this company. If you have time to wait, it is like pulling teeth to get your claim approved. All they want to do is sweet talk you into purchasing or renewing and when it comes time to file a claim, they want their technicians if there are any to come out and assess the issue on their time. My air conditioning unit stopped blowing cold air so i called choice home warrantee. After A couple days of not receiving a technician, they gave me the option to choose my own technician. My technician found that the Freon was low and instructed me to add new Freon and check for the leak. Choice denied this claim due to me not having a clean unit.. after presenting the home warranty company with the service agreement for the past year and a half showing that the unit has been taken care of they still denied the claim. Stay away from this company. We didn't have a stove for 9 weeks while dealing with them. They sent an appliance repairman 4 times who replaced 2 electronic boards. He then told us that it was an electrical problem with the line or the plug. Choice then sent an electrician who said it was not an electrical problem. We paid each $65. They sent a different appliance repairman and he said it was an electrical problem. Choice then sent a different electrician who said it wasn't an electrical problem. I wish I could leave a review with 0 stars. Bought our house in Oct of last year and the 30+ yr old ac seemed to work fine, and the home inspection shows this. Mid Spring of this year, had an issue with the ac, CHW sent a "tech"(one that they chose), who shows up in an unmarked family sedan car, no company uniform, no company I.D. visible on his person and I didn't think to ask to see one. The ac was not blowing cold air, and the tech quickly diagnosed the issue as a faulty supply valve. Guess what one part is listed on CHW'... read more
