After almost a year and a poor experience with a service request I chose to cancel my Choice Home Warranty. I called and was told I had to call back near the time the warranty was ready to renew (about two weeks). I called back the day before the renewal date and was told my policy was canceled and all automatic payments were stopped. Wow, where to begin. We have had our heater on our unit denied, 1/8/24, cost us to repair, and they argued "not due to normal wear and tear" of which it clearly was. On 2/11/24, our hot water needed repair and they did repair it, on 3/13/24 air reported and repair was finally got repaired, and on 6/`2/13 air problems again, not cooling, denied due to NOT "normal wear and tear". -5 stars should be an option!! The worst company ever! Incompetence at its highest. Ive been waiting for over a month to have an issue resolved. They have charged me 2 service fees for the same service and refusing to compensate me for the damages caused by their delay.

Choice home warranty is a terrible fraudulent company. They do not cover any of the claims you file - and are a complete waste of time and money. They also illegally make it very hard to cancel your policies. I have called at least 25 times trying to cancel my 5 property policies, I just get transferred, hung up on, or sent to an automated system that take my contact information and never calls me back. The worst company ever! Our AC has been out since June 28th and we filed a case immediately. Its been scorching hot outside, and weve had to endure 95F temperatures inside our home. Initially, they scheduled a technician for July 10th, leaving us without AC for over ten days. This is unacceptable.After expressing our frustration, they rescheduled the appointment to July 1st. They hire the worst technicians. Was told to pay 300 for repairs and technician told me he would not complete repairs to AC until I paid 1300. Told company and no response to date. Paid 1300 for repairs and AC is still not working. Informed company and was treated with disrespect on several occasions. Started on 1 May 2024 and still not working 2 Jul 2024. I prepaid for three years of home warranty service with CHOICE Home Warranty. Beware!!! Do not buy their service. They are either a scam, or so incredibly mismanaged, or both. We filed a recent claim - and followed their claim process. FYI: The folks they sent dont have company vehicles, IDs uniforms or web sites. The repair person came out, but then dragged their feet for almost a week - to simply upload their diagnostic to the CHOICE website. Whirlpool Cabrio washer broke, Choice sent repair tech, choice decided to replace instead of repair, offered me $343, I protested and they raised offer to $476, I ask for $600. Reluctantly agreed to accept $476 which they said would be sent via email for ecredit at Lowes. Been 2 weeks waiting on email, they say will take up to 30 days to process.
