I recently enlisted the services of coastal moving service for my move, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The carrier they used for my move was punctual skilled and handled my belongings with care. Communication was excellent throughout with coastal moving services customer service. We recently moved from Indiana to Louisiana and found Coastal Moving Services on Facebook of all places! Coastal moving services did an excellent job broker during our recent move the company that the utilize for us was loadrans They showed up on time and were efficient with the packing of our items. Delivery took a little longer than expected but coastal services customer service kept us updated the entire time overall, I was pleased with the services provided.

Beware! Beware! Beware! Scam alert. The salesperson a list of things to move. I offered him a video or pictures of what is moving. He kept saying no need. We know what we are doing. This is 1 bedroom move with 20 boxes: A dresser, a Kitchen cabinet, A China cabinet, computer desk, coffee, a queen bed, a small bookcase, and 20 boxes. This is a scam from the beginning and I should have recognized it. You are quoted one price and then the final review price, which understandably went up because a few things were added. When the contracted moving company shows up (way after the scheduled time) they try to tell you everything won't fit in the truck so we need another. The estimate was ***** ish for a 330 mie move. Coastal Moving Services told us our belongings would be put in a "pod" and delivered within 5-7 days. The driver of the truck confirmed that information and loaded our belongings, only after insisting we pay with either cash or a cash app. This is after we already paid the company via credit card for what we were later told was a "broker" fee. They obviously lied because we later found out that our belongings were taken from our house in a truck, removed from that truck and stored in some warehouse. Then it sat there until t... read more

****************. Increased pricing by thousands of dollars once they had arrived at my house. On delivery they completely changed how scheduling would be handled and just told me I would find out about my move in (to an NYC apt) around 24 hours before. When I called customer service to ask them for help they literally stopped picking up the phone. These people are crooks.

I need help these movers picked up personal belongings and have yet to respond to any calls nor have they delivered my stuff been over a month and the specialist ****** will not return calls or email I have been robbed and need assistance some legal assistance or law enforcement

Do not use this company under any circumstance. They send a quote based on what is needed to be moved, take a deposit for half, and then on moving day will double your quote. Their policy is if the move is canceled on moving day, you forfeit your deposit. So they will take your money without actually moving anything and then knowing they can double because people don't want to lose their initial deposit.
