I hired this company (FYI they're F-ing AWFUL), and then they brokered out my move to another company, ************ in ******, **, who is equally awful. Ive paid twice the quoted amount for the entire move and was FORCED to pay for another month of storage even though I don't want my stuff stored, I want it delivered. They won't schedule a delivery date, wont even give me a week window, Ive called dozens of times. I got upset and cried two times by the two customer service agents; ***** and ***. They both yelled and me when I supposed to receive update of my mover but they yelled at me.They kept changing time and the mover never call me to come over.They supposed to arrive between 10am-2pm and Im sitting here at 2:09pm nobody ever called me and nobody ever arrived today. They are a fraud company. Im going to sue them.
Do not use misleading quotes, hidden fees, and terrible communication (This is a scam)I hired Coastal Moving Services and had a very bad experience. Go with any other moving company. Coastal moving is a moving brokerage and they do not move your belongs. They contract the moving service to another company and this price you will pay but it is not disclosed to you when you get your initial quote. My $4500 move turned into a $10,000 move. Of course they dont tell you this until after you have paid your no refund deposit and are holding your items for ****** in the truck. The sales person was misleading and lied about the nature and content of the agreement. He promised the amounts quoted were higher than needed and the amount of space you would need would be less. Neither was true; the amount doubled and the allowed space shrank to where you could not move your property without spending far more money than quoted. Predatory practices. Needs to be investigated and shut down. People are being swindled daily by this company. Its large amounts of money on the line with outlandish and unfair policies. Terrible customer service. Unreliable. Untrustworthy.
I cannot even give any stars with how terrible the customer service was for this company. We moved across country and there was minimal communication, the quote and then what we were told we owed was WAY more. The whole process was terrible. 0/10 recommend.
Repeatedly harassed me over the phone to buy their service, despite no indication that I wanted to buy anything and repeated attempts to add myself to their no-call list. One time they called me and the support employee I was connected to actually thought I was the one calling them. An extremely poor experience.
