We made EVERY MISTAKE IN THE BOOK by choosing Coastal Moving Services, LLC. MISTAKE #1 - We had never done a cross-country move before and were in a HUGE RUSH to get out before our closing date. This is an absolutely terrible company with disgusting customer service and predatory, dishonest business practices. I hired them for a move, I told them exactly what items there would be. I was told by the initial rep, *******, that my move was a “minimum job” and given a quote around $1700. I was also told that I was at only 66% of the minimum capacity so that my quote should not go up unless I doubled the job. RUN!!! They are a BROKER NOT a moving company. This company is FRAUDULENT!! I give them negative ten stars. Please don't respond to my review acting dumb either. Do not use this company. I was quoted $1126 to move 488 cu ft of house hold goods. The quote was based on 2 queen ***** 3 recliners that they labeled as chairs, 1 end table, dresser, vanity with mirror, 2 night stands, large screen TV, and 30 medium boxes, as well as "platinum moving package" which was supposed to include materials and packing of goods. This company should be shut down! Scam scam scam and full of lies. ****, one of the sales reps is a POS! Rushed through the process to make it seem fast and easy. He even checked boxes on contract after I signed them that created nothing but problems. Promised dates times after time when asking and confirming. After deal was done he just disappeared. Even after telling me that he will be my person of contact from start to finish. Nope! Company they hired are thieves! Both are just a flat out scam!

DO NOT USE. The sales rep was very nice and gave us a quote. Then we had our final inventory review and the price went up another $835, what?? It gets worse, when they came to move our stuff, after they had packed all of it they charged us an additional $435! Too late to stop them. When it was delivered they told my daughter it was an additional $400! Her boyfriend complained so they knocked it down to $150 but still an additional cost. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could put zero stars I would. Coastal Moving Company is a SCAM!!! We were quoted $2,500 to move from ** to **, by ***************************** one of their customer service representatives. When the third party movers showed up an additional $2,000 was added onto our price unexpectedly, even though we gave a very detailed itemized break down in our call with Coastal Moving the previous day. Very misleading with prices and service. They just keep adding more fees as you go. I do not recommend this company to anyone unless you want to be bamboozled. Very poor customer service my bill went from $4853 up to $7860 and we're still not done yet. They were supposed to be he on Monday and still no word yet when they're going to deliver. They said there still may be additional charges when delivering.
