I just wanted to write a quick review to show my appreciation for the quality of service that I received when using COIT to clean my carpets. I decided to go to COIT of Seattle, because a friend recommended me, and I have never made a better decision in my life. Whenever you move out of an apartment, priority number one is to get as much of your deposit back as is humanly possible. Had our drapes picked up to have them cleaned. They were not dirty nor damaged. They had only been hanging up, untouched. They were returned to us after two weeks dirty with holes, tears and footprints. Who walks on drapes?! The man I talked to on the phone was rude and told me I needed to calm down. I had neither raised my voice nor cursed. This is just beyond. I wish I had just left them dusty!!!! These were custom made drapes and will be expensive to replace!!!
Certainly can not recommend these people. First they enticed me with a 40% discount. They came out and quoted a price with the discount that sounded like all the other quotes I had gotten. I said ok...then they told me they would have to take the carpet to their shop but could do it at that time. I called back in a few days and set an appointment for Thursday. This place is a disaster, absolutely appalling experience with COIT cleaners, we had contacted them to clean and repair our carpets during a house move, the guy turned up and did an absolutely terrible job on cleaning the carpets, he missed a huge patch, didn't clean a lot of the carpet properly, he had cleaned before the repair and so said the repair work could now not be done and then asked for the money when not all of the work that we had asked for had been completed. I highly recommend not using this company! Their business practice is unethical and I'm surprised their rating is not lower. I contacted Coit to have the drapes in my building lobby cleaned and pressed. They gave me a reasonable bid to pick up two drapes and take them to be cleaned. I realized one set of drapes can't be taken off-site because of a nightclub. I contacted Coit once again for a bid to have the drapes cleaned and pressed onsite. It is with a heavy heart that I write one of my very few poor reviews. If you look at my account you will see how serious this is for me to actually post a bad review. Coit Cleaning of Woodinville has been an incredible disappointment. I had two Persian rugs picked up almost two months ago. They were finally (initially) returned about three weeks ago and then I had to have them picked up again because they were not clean. Sent out wrong crew x2 for cleaning and color grout sealant. Damaged 2 doors and baseboards. Made several reports as did own crew. I had to follow up as no one returned my calls after 3 weeks. Finally hired someone to fix their damages. Very costly. No customer service.
Crap. Not a thorough job whatsoever. An ink stain became even worse. They did not thoroughly explain what would happen, otherwise I would have never done the cleaning. Your rugs will come back looking the same, you might as well buy a new one than pay for their services. And the person that did our carpet cleaning started ranting about their political/personal views, extremely unnecessary. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Had to wait several weeks for an appointment to clean 2 small area rugs. Was given a 4 hour window with a commitment that I would get a call or text with a 2 hour window on the day of which is today. 4 hour window came and went. Call the 800 number and had a nice person who put me on hold and got back to me to tell me the supervisor would call within the next 15 minutes.
