Epic bad app Whoever built this is not a real developer. Crashes a multiple points in a flow. Face authentication doesn’t work. Date picker is not standard UI. Can’t find saved in-process claims to continue. Nothing good about this app.
Useless Since the “merge” with the latest company I can’t even get into my acct. A little while back it started showing a previous employer (10+ years prior) who I never had an acct with and made me choose each time between the companies. Now it wants to send me a text because it doesn’t recognize the phone I have been using the app on for the last 2 yrs, but does not ever actually send the verification text, so now I am locked out. USELESS.
Somehow even worse than the website App lacks key features of the website such as HSA Save-it. This makes the app more or less useless for those using it for accumulation/investment purposes rather than payment/reimbursement. Insurance claim tracking is literally the only reason to have a CYC account unless your employer contributes. There are free options out there with far superior investment platforms, e.g. Fidelity, and even some with manual expense tracking, e.g. Lively.
Terrible App This app seemingly cannot fix the issue regarding selecting “reimburse self” then subsequently sending a payment to the provider.
Add documents doesn’t work Can’t upload photos from my phone to the site. Add document- pick photos - select album (2) - pick photos = blank folder to pick from. Should be 2 documents in there. Frustrating interface and can’t submit my claim 🙄.
App is practically useless The app crashes any time I try to add a photo to a claim. Also, the chat feature of the app keeps dropping my chat sessions to get help
Horrible Filled with bugs. I will not have an HSA next year if they use this company. Can’t select a photo. Won’t delete a claim. File don’t come up to attach and heaven forbid you enter your password wrong. It deletes user name and you have to reverify the device. It took months to get the first claim paid. Total garbage
Impossible support I can’t set up a new account. When I try to do it on the site I get an error. I wanted to use the chat feature to talk to support but you have to be logged in to access it. I figured out by using the phone tree that I have an existing account through an old employer, but when I try to recover my old username the recorded message just says we can’t do that right now, and the account recovery flow on the site and mobile app are only for getting a password. Shutting down Keeps booting me out when I’m trying to pay a provider or reimburse myself. After putting in the provider info hit next and as soon as I click on who it was for it shuts down
