Many of the reviews you will see online about Cornerstone typically comes from residents and their satisfaction with them as a property management company. My tenure with Cornerstone was short, but it made a lasting impact on me both professionally and personally, and I wanted to write about my experience working with Cornerstone.
I came across Cornerstone’s online posting for a new office admin January 2017. I was drawn to apply because I noticed upon researching online, that Cornerstone was rated 4.9/5.0 which is quite the feat for a property management company in Denver. Soon, I came in to interview with Amanda, Calley, and Courtney later to have a follow up interview with the president, Jim Lorenzen. It was a quick interview process, and Amanda, Calley, and Courtney all did a great job in laying out the expectations for my role and answering my questions about company culture. In my 2nd interview with Jim, I just knew that I truly did come across a remarkable place when he told me about the founding of Cornerstone.... why he created this business, his vision for it & his employees… it’s a story you don’t hear often and quite inspiring/admirable. I had never worked in this industry before but knew I had probably landed at the best of the best after hearing Cornerstone's vision.
In my 90 days, every department went out of their way to make me feel like a part of the team and help me in my training period. Never did anyone hesitate to help, and every day I came into an office of smiling faces and people happy to show up to work. Cornerstone employees are passionate about what they do and who they serve. Recently Cornerstone was named one of the best places to work by the DenverPost. There are companies who pay to be featured on lists like the Fortune500 but Cornerstone has truly earned its title for best place to work because of the amazing people and culture that makes up Cornerstone. If you are considering applying, DO IT!
