My (now) fiancé and I went to Mervis to look at rings before our engagement so I could give him an idea of what kind of ring I preferred. I worked with Jeff at the Tysons location for approximately two months to find the perfect engagement ring. Jeff worked very hard to not only find me the perfect diamond, but also deliver the ring in time for my pre scheduled wedding proposal. He was simply awesome. I shopped around at many jewelers before buying from Mervis. Compared to the rest, Jeff's customer service was second to none. I can't recommend him/them highly enough and my bride and I will be returning to purchase our wedding bands.
After looking at engagement rings several times, I was ready to buy. I made an appointment with Dodi and received not one but two confirmation emails. On the day of--she didn't show up. Needless to say, I'll be going elsewhere.
I went shopping here for some jewelry for my S.O. I thought I should pop into Mervis since it was between two of the stores I was looking into, but I was sadly disappointed with what they offer. Firstly, the selection here is minimal. They tell you there's more in the back, but I can't imagine it's more impressive than what they have up front - and are there any other settings? I went to Mervis with hopes to find an engagement ring for my girlfriend. We didn't have an appointment, but Maria Kamali helped us right away. She very pleasant and knowledgable. She never pressured me. In the end we had a great experience and found the perfect ring.
I had an issue with the customer service, but then Jonathan contacted me through yelp and was very sincere and helpful.

I was not impressed. I walked in without an appointment, and I guess they didn't think I was a serious buyer. Nobody took me to a consultation room, but they did show me some rings in the case. When there wasn't one I liked, I described it. I was given a quick, "we can make one for you", but the salesperson made no move to go beyond that. I would have loved to talk design/numbers about what I wanted. Too bad about that...they lost my sale.

I have so much to say about my experience at Mervis, I hardly know where to begin. I will come back and fill in this review as I have time. Initially, let me just give folks some practical advice. If you choose to shop at Mervis, make sure to shop around and compare the quality and price of what you are buying--make sure you are comparing apples-to-apples. Rahul was great. I felt like we received great customer service. My fiancé and I had been to numerous stores and decided on a ring from Jared. We thought we would try Mervis before making the purchase. I'm so glad we did. There were so many options. We found the perfect ring and for the best price. I love my ring!!! Thanks! FYI... They did not have our appointment on file (we made it the night before) but met with us anyway.
