I've visited my share of jewelry stores recently looking for the perfect diamond engagement ring. None of them compared to Mervis. First off, I'll compliment the security. I've never felt safer, especially with all of the madness going on these days, you can never be too safe. This place definitely takes customer service to a great level but their selection of diamonds and settings is lacking. They are somewhat more expensive than other stores so do your research. I went here after getting a quote on a setting. When their setting was 1k more expensive I asked why and the representative basically tried to bash the other setting as low quality and scare me away from it. Bad business.

I went to Mervis to upgrade my diamond form a 1.75 to a 2.75 carat. I worked with Becky the manager. My cureent diamond is a H Vs2 round stone. She brought me two stones. She said one was 2.5 H and and one was 2.5 J color. I couldn't tell the differnce and either could my daughter who was with me shopping for an engagement ring. I've been to a ton of jewelry stores in the last few months and this place is just totally different to anything I've seen before. Looking around at other stores it can be confusing to know the differences between rings and why some stuff is priced higher and some lower. Sometimes you look at a tray of rings and they can all look the same honestly. I purchased an engagement ring here. It was a great experience - it does help if you come with a sense of what you want, but the salespeople are great and I think their merchandise is the best in the area. Dodi was our salesperson and she was very helpful and even assisted in a surprise related to our engagement. I recommend the store enthusiastically.

My fiance and I just bought our wedding bands at Mervis. Kristopher Greenwell took care of us. He worked within our budget and helped us pick out our wedding bands. The staff at Mervis was knowledgeable and courteous. We plan on doing business with Kris and Mervis Diamond Importers again.

I did some shopping around various jewelers and I ultimately decided on Mervis because of the friendly service and great value. Jeff was very accommodating and did his best to service me and always kept my preferences and budget in mind with all of his suggestions. I never felt pressed to make any decision I wasn't completely comfortable with. I eventually found the perfect ring and ideal diamond with his help and my fiancee loved it. Thanks!

Decent selection on stones and settings. Prices are high here. Not Tiffany's high but if you look around their store, you can see, they have some serious overhead that needs to be passed along to the consumer. Sales reps were nice enough but we really didn't get an education. I found that their Platinum settings were astronomically high (like almost $5k for something with 2 side stones - I got quotes from many other places for like $2k-3k range)! Thank you Mervis for an excellent shopping experience. Right from the beginning, I walked in shorts and was given great service with patience from Maryam Bami. Later on Ronnie Mervis helped me with some selections as well. Both of you are great at meeting your customer's needs. They have great selection and also a variety of ring settings with very good pricing. I moved back to Texas but I am sure to call them again when i need a bigger diamond or a second one.
