Without question, a great experience from start to finish. After working with a couple of other jewelers in NOVA, we decided to visit Mervis one Saturday afternoon to see what they had to offer. Yes, the double doors for security was weird to get used and didn't set the right tone as we made our way into the store. Once inside though we were impressed. The company will not resize your rings for free! They will not let you ex-change their own ring setting. Overall the customer service is very bad. Their website is different from what a local store practices. For such an expensive place their customer service is very poor. I was very disappointed with the store and would not recommend it.

I came to Mervis being thoroughly unimpressed with Jared the Galleria of Jewelry. When I arrived at Mervis it was 5:30PM and they closed at 6PM. The salesman who assisted me stayed past 6PM to assist me and get an idea of what I was looking for. Keep in mind I showed up without making an appointment. When we wrapped up day one I had made a followup appointment to come back the next day. Admittedly, I am a picky person and had an idea in mind of what I wanted in an engagement ring. My boyfriend and I went to Mervis because I did my homework and saw several rings on their website that met my criteria. We were excited and hoped that Mervis would provide one-stop shopping for us. We recently purchased a Tacori engagement ring from Mervis. After shopping for the better part of two years, my (now) fiancee and I had a very good sense of what we wanted. The other jewelers we had worked with at other stores (from NY to DC) had a frustrating way of dancing around a lot of our direct questions (GIA vs. EGL, pricing structures, marketing strategies, etc). I had an excellent time buying the engagement ring here. It was just way easier then so many other places I went. Professional and honest, no pushy sales tactics. They make their sales by having exactly what you are looking for at roughly the price you want to pay. They helped me pick the ring, provided valuable insight into diamonds, matched the price that I was looking for, and set me up with financing. I honestly could not be happier with how this went. And the girl loved it! We will be going back for our wedding rings.

I was very happy with my purchase. I came with my then girlfriend but beforehand, had called the sales rep over the phone, asking to make up a story that it would be a long lead time before they could actually get the ring in. I just wanted to bring her to look at it and to see if she would like it. Of course she loved the Verragio (which Mervis is one of the only reps of around this area) but the long lead time I told her concerned me. I have been a patron of Mervis Diamond Importers for a few years now and am pleased to report that my experience has never been less than stellar. Hats off to Arnie at the Rockville location who has always been honest, communicative, and accommodating on short notice. Shopping for diamond studs or engagement rings may be an intimidating experience, but I found that with these folks, sales-pressure was never an issue. They educate on all aspects of the craft and you end up making an informed decision.

Mervis Diamond Importers offer a great experience for buying a wedding ring. My wife and I met with one Mervis consultant, Jordan Stein. Jordan helped us find the perfect wedding rings. The rings came in right on time and we had no issues with the delivery or pickup. Jordan and Mervis Diamonds offered personal attention that we did not find at any other jeweler in the area. Mervis Diamonds has definitely become my jeweler for the Washington DC metro area. I highly recommend Mervis Diamonds and Jordan Stein.
