A great jewelry store, no question about it. Very nice people, good selection, high quality offerings. I'd suggest you make an appointment before going in, especially on high traffic weekends (i.e., trunk shows, sale weekends). Even if you don't make an appointment, they'll do everything they can to see you as quickly as possible. Mervis Diamond Importers sets the bar for retail jewelry experience! I say this because compared to the 12 other jewelry stores I visited, none of them provided the selection, professionalism, education and quality of service that i received from Mervis. First off, and I will get back to this later, this is a place that you have to pass through two security doors to get into. On top of that they prefer to take appointments. Even thought they take walk ins, an appointment is preferred for them and is best for you as well. The staff at the Tysons Corner Mervis store was outstanding (even when I brought my 3 year old son with me, they treated him great)! My fiancée and I were in there multiple times to get the right ring, the right stone, and the right wedding bands with each visit being better than the last. We worked with Jordan Stein each time and he is great (extremely knowledgeable, great personality, no-pressure attitude). My husband and i had such a great experience with Mervis previously ( almost ten years ago) we decided no question we would return for an upgrade. We were so pleased to work with Maria Kamali, she has such an warm, pleasant personality. She was not overbearing, pushy, or in anyway negative. Mervis is THE BEST! We have been going there since 2005 when we first got engaged and have nothing but the best experiences and we have purchased many items from them. Most recently, Jordan Stein helped us and he worked with my husband to get an amazing diamond ring for me which my husband used to propose (again) and renew our vows on our 10th wedding anniversary. My then boyfriend and I loved our experience at Mervis. Kris was great to work with. We visited twice and ended up buying the first engagement ring setting I tried on and the matching wedding band. The prices were a good value and they honored the lower price when the band I was interested in had two very different prices as marked. The ring is even more beautiful then I remembered now that I have it on. Highly recommend!

Without question, a great experience from start to finish. After working with a couple of other jewelers in NOVA, we decided to visit Mervis one Saturday afternoon to see what they had to offer. Yes, the double doors for security was weird to get used and didn't set the right tone as we made our way into the store. Once inside though we were impressed. The company will not resize your rings for free! They will not let you ex-change their own ring setting. Overall the customer service is very bad. Their website is different from what a local store practices. For such an expensive place their customer service is very poor. I was very disappointed with the store and would not recommend it.
