Me and my now husband walked into Mervis without an appointment since we were in the area and everyone was very welcoming. We worked with Dion, who is a pleasant gentleman who helped us patiently go through all the selections. He was very courteous and helpful. His calm demeanor was soothing at a time where I was stressed trying to pick out a ring literally 3 days before my ceremony! I highly recommend Mervis Tysons corner and Dion as a salesman.

Rahul at the Tyson's Corner store absolutely saved my wedding!! Well, I suppose the show would have gone on without a wedding band, but Rahul certainly delivered in my time of need. The backstory goes...a certain blue..er...big box store across the street called me 2.5 weeks before my wedding and said, oh sorry, but your wedding band will not be ready in time. (WHAT?!?!??) I started working with Mervis in March of 2013 when I decided I was ready to propose to my girlfriend. I had an heirloom engagement ring with a stone that I wanted to use for a new ring. Mervis was super helpful in teaching me all about my stone and guiding me through the decisions to have it recut, certified and reset into a beautiful new setting. First of all, I must say TINA CLAERY !!! We were in the area looking for rings and stopped in at Tiffany's. I just wasn't ready to buy a ring and wanted to look some more. We walked up to Mervis and tried the door. It was locked and a guard was standing there. I'm not surprised at the low ratings. My boyfriend and I didn't have an appointment but figured we would stop by since we were in the area. I've heard their ads on the radio before and was curious to see their selection. The showroom gave me a very cold, corporate feeling. Rings are displayed on cheap plastic trays. My fiance bought my engagement ring here and they were extremely helpful and courteous to him throughout the entire process. I went back many times for sizing's and they inspected my ring each time and once replaced a baguette with a flaw for no charge and did it in record time so I could have the ring for Thanksgiving to show our families. This might be my best review ever. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: They certify their diamonds with the MOST LENIENT (EG-IL) certifications giving their diamonds better grades. There's GIA, EGL-USA, EG-IL, ordered from strict to lenient in grading diamonds. So EG-IL will be a lot nicer and say the diamond has a better quality than GIA will. This is where they get you. My husband and I had a great experience with Miriam. She worked with our budget, understood our style, and had that special sales person quality that makes you feel taken care of! I love how she anticipated a number of desires and needs without us asking. Mervis seems to be a good retailer for budgets in between cheap and super expensive with a range of options. Good quality and service.

Our family loves Mervis! We bought my engagement ring there and have been customers ever since. When we first visited the Tysons store, I had a designer and look in mind. The sales associate listened to me and was able to get exactly what I wanted. After 8 years, the same person that helped us with my engagement ring, still remembers us when we walk in the door and even stays in touch.
