Room unclean, dated, noisy bathroom door, uncomfortable bed & pillows, room safe not useable, door to room showed signs of break- in, family member had coat stolen. This hotel is a disgrace to the Marriott brand/name!
Our room, 713, has a noisy heating unit that ends each heat cycle with a loud thud. Had to wear earplugs to sleep. It took two days to get coffee in our room, after phoning for help twice. Finally, a maid went and got a replacement coffee maker for us. No clean towels available for the second of our 3-night stay. Instead of installing a shower rack for the hotel's body wash, shampoo, and conditioner pump bottles, they were stuck to the tile with a plastic bracket. Just could not check in on time. Was told 20 mins twice- turned into 3 hours - with zero text as promised. Hotel room floor was not vacuumed. Little to no towels in room.
the door on my room (709) was literally broken. they made me like 20 keys and none of them really worked. a maid and the building engineer ended up letting me back into my room at different points. i also couldn't get OUT without kicking and shoving on the door when i went to leave at the end because then it was just stuck and jammed in the other way!! what if there had been a fire? totally dangerous.
