I've had great service and attention at Crest Volvo and want to buy my next volvo from them. However, trying to schedule service on the website and the next appointment is over a month out. I was forced to schedule an appointment with Park Place Volvo where the next available apointment was only two days out. I am not comfortable buying a car from a dealership that wants me to wait 30+ days for service
I've tried to avoid writing a review but they've pushed me to it. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We went in in April looking fo a car and met with Jimmy Crosby. He was friendly enough but when we decided to order a car instead, he all of a sudden became too good to help us, sayin he "got promoted." I brought my old car in for an estimate on trade in value, and magically he has time for me again and he comes back trying to sell me a car that's on their lot that I didn't want. Stay as far away from Crest Volvo service as possible. Don't expect a return call from the service manager Jeremy Chapman. Overcharges for services not needed. Charges for warranty services, them refuses to refund. Then, completes services not authorized just to save themselves money and trying to force a customer to return if they want credit. No thanks. So disappointed we purchased our XC90 from them. This department is a complete scam.
I brought my Volvo XC-90 in for service. I was given a written service estimate of $413.00 to repair an engine mount, why a four year old car needs an engine mount replaced is a question for another day. The estimate required my approval prior to service being performed on my vehicle, which was given for the total amount of $413.00. However, when I picked up my car the total repair bill was $617.00. This service center is poorly managed. The first time I made an appointment for scheduled maintenance it was cancelled 3 days later because my service Rep. was on vacation. I had to wait another week for an appointment. Apparently they couldn't just assign me to someone else. The next time I made an appointment I arrived to learn that there were no loan cars available, despite the fact that I reserved one when making my appointment. I don't blame the employees. Not sure what happened, but I took my car there for usual service. Was told it would take 2 hrs and it took about 3 with an appointment. Not terribly bad, but somehow they lost my vehicle between telling me it was ready and me walking outside. No kidding, lost it for over an hour. It somehow ended up at the car wash, then got parked in an overnight lot. I think it may have even had a 2nd car wash, at least I was told that. Anyway, nobody offered anything but sorry. Contacted Max at Crest to offer $43,500 cash for a 2020 XC90 T6 Momentum AWD w/23,358 miles w/advertised price $47,998. The price was much higher than another Grubbs Volvo, a local dealership. Max aggressively text back saying, "we're #1 Volvo dealership in Texas. My GM wants to see proof. Send me link of better deal." I did. We did speak. After repeated phone calls, a Yelp review with a response with an incorrect email and another phone call.
Hi Josh, I know you're trying to resolve an issue with your Customer Service, however, a quick remedy won't help. Your employees need a retraining, and I stress in the management and advisors you have at the site. That's where your big issues are lying. I've tried to resolve through most of them and they promise things but never follow through or even call back hoping the issues go away. So if this email address is for another employee at your site, it won't help one bit.
