We just had our daughter admitted. The administrative staff is very professional. The facility looks clean and up to the task of in-depth treatment. The admission process was smooth and fast. It's great to have Cross Creek Hospital nearby. The Pilloffs
I know that these places hardly ever get good reviews because most people do not want to accept their circumstances. This place treated my family very well. Cynthia is an amazing Nurse!!! The front staff is very sweet and all the nurses I spoke to. If you or a loved one has to come here they will be in good hands.
My husband went there recently. He's been struggling with pain for years and decided to drink it away. Long story but the ending is he was placed there for a week. Not his idea, but the man who went in was not the same as the one who came out. He had reached an all time low and this wonderful hospital along with the caring staff got him back to normal as possible. He still has a long road ahead of him but he had nothing but kind things to say about the overworked staff. Thank you all for being so committed. Your kindness and... read more
Sooooo grateful to the amazing staff at this facility that work harder than any hospital I've ever been in . They were able to get my meds worked out quickly... They were able to assess my personal situation ... get me the help I needed and welcome me as a team member with a path to success that ended up being fostered as a bond of family Within the staff and the patients . Classes were such a help to manage and modify stress , promote selfcare , self love and consideration of others . You will go in feeling broken and beat... read more
I love Cross Creek Hospital. For some reason, it gets poor ratings. The staff is what makes your stay so awesome . Mr. Bill is in charge of Unit C- he is the most caring guy in the whole world, and has a model family life at home. Heidi is a frequent RN flyer. Ask for her to give you your meds.
Unlike most of the reviews on here, I can categorically state that Cross Creek is a good facility! I was kept informed at all times as to my family member's well-being and doctors, nurses and carers were available to speak to. In addition, packages and messages were delivered and I was able to plan my visits efficiently, as visiting hours are clearly posted on the hospital's website. Joy, Cross Creek's Therapist, was our main contact and she was fantastic! Care was taken to ensure our family member was released into our c... read more
Psychiatric hospitals are very difficult to evaluate since only angry customers tend to write reviews. We had our daughter here after an overdose and it was the third time she had been into a facility like this but our first time here. We are from San Antonio and didn't want to drive the 2 1/2 hrs to see her but it turned out to be the best decision that we made. We were supported by the EMS who said that, of all the places that they go, Cross Creek was one of the better ones. We received a call from the RN who discussed her... read more
Pros and cons to this hospital. My 18yr old daughter was sent here after a suicide attempt. Acceptance to the hospital was fast and easy. Location was easy to get to. Communication from staff about visiting hours, telephone visits and what items to bring was poor. My daughter complained that the food quality was poor and housekeeping was very poor. On the positive side, the doctor was able to put her on medication that helped her. The psychology staff could've have done a better job (in my opinion) by being honest about her... read more
