I'm not really sure about this place. My mom had to go in, and she's 86. When we admitted her we were told we could call to check on her, and talk to her. But, once in that was not the case. We knew we weren't allowed to see her, which I understood. I waited a few days before I started calling to check on my mom. I kept leaving messages, but didn't get a returned phone call ever! Finally, my mom called me and begged me to come get her. My mom has hallucinations, so I didn't know if I could believe my mom or not, but mom told... read more

This fucking place is literally not even benefiting peoples health. Most of the staff are careless and rude. You wanna tell me that ain't true then call me but I was not satisfied while being there. One of the staff says that this place ain't a hotel well nah shit but you can still at least provide god damn paper towels and toilet paper when we need. Getting woken up bright and early by someone rudely coming in the room waking up everyone just to take vitals. That can be done when everyone is up at a time that suits them so ... read more

The chicken was raw I was in the adolescent unit the girls side and the night staff said I was faking my tics because they weren't in my records and there was a code yellow the night before I discharged and they started yelling at the other patients and patients were yelling and crying and my roommate was in isolation and I was freaking out and they told me to stop being triggered like I can control it

I had a bad year and got severely drunk at home by myself and fuzzily took a bunch of Benadryl. (I know) However, woke up in the hospital not knowing anything about anything and had an interview with a social worker at the hospital (st David's s austin) while I was still completely out of it. I remember I told him I was in there for pancreatitis because I didn't know why. He was a complete asshole and told me to stop lying because he couldn't help me if I continued. I truly believe he was biased against suicidal people. And s... read more

This place wasn't great, wasn't absolute horrible though, my main issue was the lack of techs, they are very low staff so they aren't able to properly give care to the patients as intensively as they should. I came out one night at 2am because I needed meds and there was not a single tech in sight for at least 45 minutes, and the doors were locked so i couldn't have even gotten to the nurses station if I wanted to. They don't check on you at night.

So it's been 24 hours and I'm already looking for a lawyer to sue the crap out of these people. Also I am going to have to make state licensing board reports and complaints about the nurses and the pharmaceutical people up there. My son is a quadriplegic and they have taken all his meds away and stuck him in a wheelchair after 2 1/2 years of extremely hard work to get him to where he can at least stand up and support himself and they are refusing to give him the medication that his doctors have been prescribing for him for 2... read more

Very shady and dishonest the from the top Management to the lowest of the low. You would ask for help and they would tell you to wait for your nurse the nurse would come in and I know I ask about 20 people why I was in there and not one could give me a straight answer. I have a son that is a Rocket Scientist literally and an Oncologist as well in the higher up in a very upper-class Medical hospital graduated Number one in his class and he asks them at least a minimum of 30 people why I was there and not a ONE was intelligent... read more

I went to the ER after having intrusive thoughts during a panic attack. They recommended I voluntarily check into CC for support. They told me they would have a therapist on site that I would be able to talk to immediately as well as a psychiatrist. When I got there, and they gave me suicide-proof everything and told me where my dorm was. That's it. It was dark, cold, like a jail cell. The bed was stiff and the sheets and blankets were thin. I was told I could join a group class the next day but that there was NO one-on-... read more

DO NOT check into this hospital if you can help it. I would give it zero stars if I could. I am heartbroken to read all the reviews talking about people's awful experiences here. I can corroborate almost all the things people have been saying, which is unbelievable! How is this place still running after FIVE YEARS of this?? I checked myself in voluntarily after going to the ER for intrusive thoughts and insomnia. I had only planned to stay one night in a safe place where I could calm down and be given medication to help me ... read more
