Very shady and dishonest the from the top Management to the lowest of the low. You would ask for help and they would tell you to wait for your nurse the nurse would come in and I know I ask about 20 people why I was in there and not one could give me a straight answer. I have a son that is a Rocket Scientist literally and an Oncologist as well in the higher up in a very upper-class Medical hospital graduated Number one in his class and he asks them at least a minimum of 30 people why I was there and not a ONE was intelligent... read more
I went to the ER after having intrusive thoughts during a panic attack. They recommended I voluntarily check into CC for support. They told me they would have a therapist on site that I would be able to talk to immediately as well as a psychiatrist. When I got there, and they gave me suicide-proof everything and told me where my dorm was. That's it. It was dark, cold, like a jail cell. The bed was stiff and the sheets and blankets were thin. I was told I could join a group class the next day but that there was NO one-on-... read more

DO NOT check into this hospital if you can help it. I would give it zero stars if I could. I am heartbroken to read all the reviews talking about people's awful experiences here. I can corroborate almost all the things people have been saying, which is unbelievable! How is this place still running after FIVE YEARS of this?? I checked myself in voluntarily after going to the ER for intrusive thoughts and insomnia. I had only planned to stay one night in a safe place where I could calm down and be given medication to help me ... read more

I went probably every year between years 2013-2018, and all they put me on was the same 5 meds or so that was on my allergy list, and they said if I didn't take those meds they would force an emergency injection into me that I also had life threatening reactions to, and I happen to have life threatening reactions to 2 of them, but there is one that they never tried that I found out this year is safe for me, but for some reason Austin Oaks refused to tell me what it was. Some of my reactions were not life threatening but WORS... read more

im a 13 yearold girl that was recently at crosscreak. dont sent your child here. it was literal hell. the staff would constantly try to force me on more meds. group therapy? nope just a "therapist" talking to 13-7 year olds like were 5. you want to discharge? nope your gonna stay twice as long as you have to. they just want the money. ther is no excuse for not letting me talk to a therapist until the day of my discharge. hell it wasnt even a session, it was what they call a faamily meeting. all my therpist did , is call my m... read more
My wife was admitted here in March after taking a couple bottles of pills during a psychotic break. She received very poor care and was released too early. She immediately reverted to suicidal ideation after being released. She vanished shortly after. I hope you read this, Kimi. I miss you and love you.
Not a good experience at all. I was admitted as inpatient adult. During my stay, the majority of the staff couldn't care less that you were there and in need of help and usually ignored you or was completely clueless as to what was going on with pretty much everything. The website shows a picture of people doing yoga, that couldn't be further from the truth. The schedule you receive on arrival shows that there are group therapy sessions throughout the day which did not occur but a couple times the whole time I was there. Th... read more
Sunday I had some kind of episode with my seizures... I had a hard time walking, talking and I was very lethargic. We went to the ER and I don't remember much there all I remember was being told I was being transferred to Georgetown hospital. Next thing I know I was in the back of an ambulance with an IV in my arm being pumped full of medication on my way to a ???psych ward in Austin???? According to them I had agreed to it. I was in no mental state to even make that decision (if I in fact I even made that choice) they shoul... read more
I must concur with the majority of the reviews, this facility should be shuttered and locked. Many of their experiences were almost identical to mine. If it was available I would have given it a zero rating. I was picked up by an ambulance in the early AM of 6-20-20 for an attempted overdose and requested to be taken to my own facility, Baylor, Scott, and White. I was told "you're going somewhere else". I still don't know where they took me, but I was taken to CCH around 2:00 PM for admission, I waited 4 hours before final... read more
