TLDR: What you can expect: Food, water, a bed, soap, toothpaste, psych drugs, watching TV all day in a hot or cold room with 30 adults, and 24/7 vitals monitoring. Social worker and counselor appointments are not guaranteed; if you get one it will be 5 minutes on zoom or if you're lucky, in person. A friend of mine went here and she said it was horrific. Her PTSD seemed to be worse after going to this facility. She told me of her experience: - Was promised to meet with a social worker and never met with one during the 5-6 ... read more

Neglectful is an understatement. A friend of mine was thrown into that hell hole and came out with horror stories. Her ward was co-ed and the doors to the rooms/ bathrooms were not locked, so showering was nerve wracking to say the least. They didn't give her clothes/ shoes for a bit and they didn't give her her glasses at all. Also, they barely fed her. Garbage facility.

This is the most unethical, inhumane so hospital on the planet. All they want is your money. They have no intentions of taking proper care of innocent people truly suffering. My child has been in there 6 days and I never spoke to a Dr or therapist. All of a sudden he's getting discharged tomorrow but I still haven't spoken to anyone in regard to his mental health which I know is NOT OK. Do not send your loved ones here. They will do nothing but take advantage of people in crisis

A one-star is making a stretch. This is the most pathetic "treatment" hospital I have ever seen. It is nothing more than a pill mill. You do nothing but watch Netflix and sleep. The rules change depending on who is in charge. Sheronda was one of the most unprofessional staff members in this facility. Tech Patricia thought it was ok to harass and push patients around. Ms. B, thought it was ok to threaten to "call your doctor" when this tech was continually bullying patients. No one on one therapy, and the groups are ... read more

I went there after suffering severe depression following a mini stroke. The medication I took for bipolar disorder quit working. I felt like I was in prison. I still have PTSD thinking about that place and that was four years ago. Do not send anyone you love there. The food is very unhealthy and the kitchen staff is untrained. We ran out of spaghetti sauce so they put water in the container shook it up and poured pink water over our noodles. That was our spaghetti supper And most of the meals were no better than that. Don't... read more

Cross Creek is one of the worst hospitals I've been to. I was admitted during the September of 2020. Before being admitted, I had sprained one ankle and broken the other so I was in a wheelchair and had a cast. My first 2 days there, I couldn't take a shower cause they didn't provide a protector for my cast, to prevent it from getting wet. My third day, I asked again and one of the staff members got a plastic bag and used scotch tap to stick it to my leg. Of course the scotch tape didn't hold so I had to go to the hospital t... read more

This is a holding pen for mentally challenged and brain damaged individuals. They did nothing for a friend of mine even though they spent around 30 days there. Further, they stole almost all their belongings (clothes, shoes, etc.) even though I specifically told them that they have a history of doing so. They don't return calls regarding coordinating release or the stolen items. If you can have any decision power over a hospitalization - stay away from this hell hole of an excuse for a "hospital". Most importantly - my ... read more

I wouldn't send my worst enemy here - the only reason I wound up here is my employer's EAP told me it was a good place when I was having issues. No structure. It's mostly chaos - Netflix and chill if you're in the "good" unit, but they'll randomly take the remote away and turn everything off. Good luck if you're on medications that require any kind of regular dosing regimine, they hand out meds whenever they want. They also lock you out of your rooms during the day.

Dear World, I was released this afternoon on 5/8/23. I will admit that I have been to other Psychiatrics Hospitals in the past. This one is by far the worst hospital I've been in. My expectation was to attend as many groups as they had; I did, I complied. I was serious about my treatment. The intake process took 12 hours. Ok, fine. Something to do in the waiting ROOMS would be a good thing for us. And I guess it would also depend on the mindset of the patient. Books, coloring (crayons - not harmful), crossword, word s... read more
