Ok - reviewing while still here with my son. Been sitting here 5 hours inside an intake room. We've seen people for perhaps all of 15 minutes out of that five hours and the intake process isn't anywhere near complete. This is by far the single worst experience I've experienced at any medical facility in my life. If your life depends on it avoid this place at all costs.

if there was a zero star, that's what the hospital would receive. Roach and ant infested I went four days without any hot water so I couldn't shower, paint peeling off the walls, i saw a therapist a total of seven minutes in 10 days no group therapy no outside exercise no nothing, you get three horrible unhealthy meals a day and sleeping and TV that is all they offer. Of course they love to give you medication so you keep quiet. Some people were given enough of whatever to knock them out for over 24 hours and they never left... read more

I was here as an adolescent in 2019. It was my second out of three psych wards in Texas under age 18. It was better than Georgetown behavioral health for me personally, but not as good as Dell children's inpatient. It was much more lax than it should be; I was left alone with a patient in a Rec room with access to pencils which was very unusual. Like many psych wards, the techs are often rude, unprofessional, and uneducated. One technician told a patient her suicide attempt was fake because she knew how many pills she took (... read more

Cross creek is the worst hospital in the Austin area. I was living in my car minding my own business in Round Rock, TX. I woke up after a rain storm and could not find my car keys again or my only phone. I was parked outside my bank so my car and myself were protected. In the morning when the bank opened EMS showed up. EMS are the only people that cared and were so so kind to give my breakfast bars and a yellow bag of hygine products. The Round rock PD were all men so it made me uncomfortable when they talked about the bruiz... read more

TLDR: What you can expect: Food, water, a bed, soap, toothpaste, psych drugs, watching TV all day in a hot or cold room with 30 adults, and 24/7 vitals monitoring. Social worker and counselor appointments are not guaranteed; if you get one it will be 5 minutes on zoom or if you're lucky, in person. A friend of mine went here and she said it was horrific. Her PTSD seemed to be worse after going to this facility. She told me of her experience: - Was promised to meet with a social worker and never met with one during the 5-6 ... read more

Neglectful is an understatement. A friend of mine was thrown into that hell hole and came out with horror stories. Her ward was co-ed and the doors to the rooms/ bathrooms were not locked, so showering was nerve wracking to say the least. They didn't give her clothes/ shoes for a bit and they didn't give her her glasses at all. Also, they barely fed her. Garbage facility.

This is the most unethical, inhumane so hospital on the planet. All they want is your money. They have no intentions of taking proper care of innocent people truly suffering. My child has been in there 6 days and I never spoke to a Dr or therapist. All of a sudden he's getting discharged tomorrow but I still haven't spoken to anyone in regard to his mental health which I know is NOT OK. Do not send your loved ones here. They will do nothing but take advantage of people in crisis

A one-star is making a stretch. This is the most pathetic "treatment" hospital I have ever seen. It is nothing more than a pill mill. You do nothing but watch Netflix and sleep. The rules change depending on who is in charge. Sheronda was one of the most unprofessional staff members in this facility. Tech Patricia thought it was ok to harass and push patients around. Ms. B, thought it was ok to threaten to "call your doctor" when this tech was continually bullying patients. No one on one therapy, and the groups are ... read more

I went there after suffering severe depression following a mini stroke. The medication I took for bipolar disorder quit working. I felt like I was in prison. I still have PTSD thinking about that place and that was four years ago. Do not send anyone you love there. The food is very unhealthy and the kitchen staff is untrained. We ran out of spaghetti sauce so they put water in the container shook it up and poured pink water over our noodles. That was our spaghetti supper And most of the meals were no better than that. Don't... read more
