I had an appt at this location on Saturday and really thought I'd find my dress here THAT DAY but instead got the grumpiest consultant I've ever encountered. She would only grab 2 dresses at a time that took so long to get to the fitting room, when I see other consultants writing down the dresses their brides are picking out. My initial experience with David's Bridal was great - my sales consultant was amazing and had no issues ordering the dress with plenty of time to get alterations done (the 5 person bridal party I am in had a HORRIBLE time ordering their dresses (different out of state store) and the other girl who is in the same style as me was also told her dress wouldn't be here in time for the June wedding...that was in early January...and their consultation was a gigantic jerk to them and made the bride instantly regret her decision to b... read more
I ordered a dress in January for a wedding in July and the dress has still not arrived. When I first ordered the dress they originally sized me incorrectly, they then wanted me to pay more in alteration (which they had told me would cost 30$, then apparently changed their minds) than I paid for the dress. They then tried to order me a dress that would arrive after the wedding (how would that possibly work!?) Karley at the Lewisville store was very rude and dismissive once I said I didn't want a white dress. I tried on almost a dozen dresses, including 2 traditional wedding dresses to appease my MOH and SIL. Karley referred to the traditional wedding dresses as "real wedding dresses", she made me feel like I wasn't a real bride by her standards. She ruined my day and my experience. I will not recommend D.B. to anyone. And the front end clerks who checked me in gave me a dirty look when I said I lived with my fiancé.
Worst experience ever!! “Memories” in Kalamazoo, Mi., has far better customer service. They listen and honor their customers.
My daughter in Law Hailey was very much Excited to go to Davids Bridal because she had two great experiences as a bridesmaid. Yes I was Greeted at the door, I did find something, I went into the fitting room and there was no mirror to see how it looked on me I am the mother of the groom I Shop alone. I need to see myself in the dress I could not zip the dress all of the way up because the zipper was in the back so I was not going to step out of the fitting room to look at myself in the mirror. PUT MIRRORS IN YOUR FITTING ROOMS! Left without seeing the dress on me. Very disappointed....going to Von Maur. I should have started there.
What a horrible experience! Where to start? This was my first time trying on dresses for my wedding. The vision I had in mind would be laughter, fun and pure joy. I ordered a dress here and was promised that it could be received and alterations done in no time. I was never told that it would be another $300 just to do BASIC alterations on my dress there and was NEVER told that there would be a rush fee to have it done in time!!!
