My initial appt was okay. There were to many people trying on dresses and to many people with them to actually enjoy my appointment. The stylist was FANTASTIC though! I did end up finding the perfect dress.Customer service did not meet my expectations, when my dress was ready the girl called and said it’s ready and needs to be picked up in 7 days 😳. I used David’s Bridal for my wedding over 20 years ago & was extremely happy with everything. I probably spend approximately between $1,000.00-$4,000 every year since my 2 daughters hit H.S. From prom dresses, Communion dresses, ball gowns, etc... I have noticed their costumer service has declined over the years. Maybe they save all their sweetness for the bridal parties. Walk ins are welcome- however according to this location they cannot try on dresses. Which- according to corporate whom I spoke to after going there tonight- is not the case. Also- if this location decided that that’s how they were going to run its business they should be informing customers who call for appointments. Driving over an hour in traffic at 8 months pregnant to be told no is ridiculous. If you’re in the middle, I suggest Massapequa instead- even on a busy Saturday they were willing to help.

I literally just left the store from “” picking up my brand new ordered dress....It was horrible I ordered it 4/25/2019 they told me it will arrive from May 22-28 magically I got a call 5/8 stating my dress was in I went today 5/9 to try on my dress and I see holes everywhere strings hanging looks like a display dress that has been tried on a few times .....on top of the bad customer service from the lady in the front who had us waiting about 20-30 minutes just to try on the dress and asking if we want to purchase a garment ... read more

David's Bridal employees in the alterations department couldn’t find my dress in their stockroom & spent 45 minutes looking for it only to be found IN A BALL ON A SEWING TABLE. No tag with it that said it was mine. Straps to hang it up ripped along with the broken hanger that it was supposed to be on. Highly unprofessional & terrible care of an expensive dress that was supposed to be in its protective bag ready to go. I thank jesus that nothing happened to my dress & hope that it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Alteration lady was rude and frowned upon my ideas for MY dress. Not to mention the cost of my alteration was more than my dress itself. I’ve been to other places and had more intense work done on more expensive material for cheaper. Not to mention, they wanted everything upfront. Majority of alteration places have you pay a down payment and wait for the rest of the money after you see the finished product. Absolutely ridiculous and do NOT recommend. OK... I have to give a shot out to David's Bridal in Springfield, VA. Specially to my girl, Kendal. Yesterday, we had a Bridesmaid emergency. One of my bridesmaids, she got the dress and the thing DID. NOT. FIT. Given it was already over the 1 month "courtesy exchange" threshold and they couldn't get the same dress in a different size on time because it was cut to order and the soonest they could get it back was August or July the earliest. I’ve been super stressed with graduating and my upcoming wedding, and after a very emotional fitting I went in today slightly dreading my final fitting. But the alterations department made my wedding dress what I’ve always dreamed. So excited to wear it all night long and finally be a bride!
