I have similar experience as Lisa Micek below. Horrible experience with alterations dept! Lisa below stated "Do yourself a favor and call around and ask for prices first because if not they will completely take advantage of you!" Let me tell you, David's Bridal's alterations esti estimates mean nothing. On March 10th I bought my daugher a prom gown there for close to $300. We got my daughters prom dress from here. We were excited it fit within our budget. They set us up with alterations appointment and we were on our way. Show up for alterations and the lady begins working on it. She said this will be $30-35 and this will be $25. She get to the bottom and that’s going to be $105!!! What?!? I said I thought all this was included she said no, sorry no one told you do we need to stop and let you think about it 😡 . Not at all impressed with this store! My stylist was nice, polite and respectful. If you're a bigger gal and looking for a $99 dollar dress, I wouldn't recommend going to this store! I went in with a budget and ended up spending way over my limit. Spent $600 dollars on a dress and had to pay for a bridal bag for the gown. Insane, considering I had just bought a $600 dress, you would think the bag would be included. Nope. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Went for dresses 2/16 and Was told my bridesmaid dress would be ready no later than 3/18, okay cool, no big deal. 3 or 4 of the girls got their dresses in the first week after ordering, cool still no big deal.....3/18 gets closer and closer, still no calls or emails. 3/18 comes, still nothing.....call and get no answer which I assume is just maybe because it’s noon and it may be busy, whatever. My sister was planning her wedding last year for her summer wedding. She met with associates here twice before her bridesmaids individually went to try on and pay for their dresses. At the second meet up she had, she changed her choice of color for the bridesmaids dresses. She stressed that they make sure all dresses ordered would be in the second and final color she chose. This David’s Bridal’s customer service is trash and almost ruined my day. I originally made and appointment for myself and my bridesmaids. I arrived around 11:45 for my 12:00 appointment. I walk in with my bridesmaids and my daughter who was sleeping in her car seat and I got in line. The woman at the desk was speaking to someone so I patiently waited, and she definitely saw me. I went in on February 9 and to my surprise I selected and purchased my dress that same day. My bridesmaids were all fitted and we selected their dresses as well. I was told that a profile would be created under my name and that it would list all of my bridesmaids names and measurements so that when we came back for them to purchase their dresses it would be a smooth process. As a plus size mother of the bride I was made to feel by the associate helping me that I was not worthy of the assistance or her attention. My daughter and best friend were with me and they pulled all the dresses. My BFF helped me in and out of dresses and when we found options I thought I would like Deborah was less than helpful to make suggestions.
