Take measurements before ordering dresses, do not order items that do not coordinate with dress, just to make a sale. Show up for alteration appointments. We had a dress ordered, too small. Instead of exchanging size, the seamstress said to keep weight down! We did order the correct size, then the seamstress did not show up for appointment. I was not happy with my experience here today. I’m by no means a double zero in size, but I surely didn’t deserve to feel like I was to big to find a dress for me on my visit by Emma! I understand I came in with 2 weeks until my date but I was not looking to have anything huge or fancy. I had a lady at deptford that was supposed to be helping my bridesmaids pick a dress my maid of honor found a dress I fell in love with it they didn’t have it in my one bridesmaid size instead of trying on a different size... two weeks later (yesterday) we went to a different David’s bridal and here the bigger size fits the brides maid and then trying to order it they don’t have the other brides maid size. Went today for my daughters fitting and had an appointment for myself to get a “mother of the Bride dress” so her appointment was at 2 mine was at 3 .. after I got over the sticker shock of $400.00 for alterations I checked in again at the front desk letting them know we were done with her fitting appointment. The dresses were beautiful, but the sales people weren't sociable at all,the store was very disorganized. and not enough employees.

the girl we had, Emma (?)was quite rude to my daughter. we've never done this before, so we had no idea what to expect. She pretty much body shamed my daughter. beautiful dresses though & the hostess was super sweet and welcoming.
