I was just there for a 5:15pm appointment to get my bridesmaid dress altered. After standing outside the alteration room for over 30 minutes with no one even acknowledging me, I left, very frustrated about wasting my time. The worst place I've ever purchased something. The dress looked like garbage when it arrived, the manager argued with us about it (nice customer service dude) and they charged the card for items we didn't purchase which increased the monthly payments my twice as much as it was supposed to be. Fiance told them she didn't want a veil or shoes and they charged them anyway. I made an appointment for a wedding dress fitting at the Manchester, CT. location, my sales person was Kenya. She was overly busy and couldnt attend to me as she should have, ig I didnt have my sister inlaw with I would have been lodt. I ended up buying a dress on sale but was charged an extra $50 for it being a 16W, which is a plus size, the manager Theresa was very rude and plainly stated it is just how thing are, no signs posted in the store for extra cost for plus sizes so it is very misleading.. First of all, I realize David’s bridal doesn’t do the preserving but they are responsible for the company they use. Horrible experience. I didn’t even buy my dress there because of the selection but I thought I would use their gown preservation service to clean and keep my dress nice as a keepsake. THEY LOST MY DRESS. I am very heart broken and so disgusted to say that unfortunately going to bridal shower with my family to look for a dress , we were looked down on and discriminated by ALL of the employees. My mom bought her wedding dress here. The dress was damaged from people trying it on and it was filthy. After purchasing, we were told the dress would be repaired and dry cleaned. Came back to pick up the dress a week later and the dress was NOT cleaned OR fixed and they tried to pass it off as ready to go. It sat in the garment bag untouched the whole time. I went into davids bridal this past Thursday looking for a wedding dress. The clerk kale told us to show her a couple of dresses I wanted to try on. I pick about 5 out of different styles. She let me try one on and I told her what I didn’t like about it. She then put all the dresses we picked out back and brought some of her own choosing. Witch I didn’t care for any of them. Not a great experience overall. I had the last appt of the day to pick out my dress, which was fine but then my consultant didn’t even offer for me to try on a veil or headpiece or my accessories. I went to pick up my dress today and it was very unceremonious. No offers to schedule an alterations appointment or maybe accessorize the brand new dress that I just got. She pretty much just handed me my dress, after I signed for it of course, and then opened the doors for me.
