I bought my dress for $550 plus tax. I was told it wouldn’t need much alterations. Fast forward to my alterations appointment at David’s bridal in Robinson and the alterations lady was so rude! She even left the back room and said she would be back in 5 minutes when I said I wasn’t sure I wanted a bustle. She tried to rack my price up from the second I walked in there telling me what I had to have done and then the manager caught a few things that the alterations lady missed! I made an appointment and with that I would expect my sales consultant to be attentive and there to assist me. I was picking out the dresses to try on with little input from anyone in the store and then spent probably another 15 minutes waiting on the consultant to come back from helping other customers to bring me the third dress I had asked to try on, which by the way I never got. Leaving for my wedding in the U.K. WITHOUT A WEDDING DRESS!!! Thank you David's Bridal!! Ordered my dress March.. So 5 MONTHS of pure chaos, disorganization, lack of knowledge and HELL!!!! They ordered me a size 4 dress in March. And I TRIED THAT DRESS ON 2 TIMES at David's Bridal! 2 different appointments in THAT DRESS!! For the alterations department to tell me the dress is too small! So they send it back and order me a size 10 and I waited another 2 months for my dress to arrive. I've purchased 2 wedding dresses here. The service when I was shopping the first time was great. But maybe that's because I purchased the 1st gown during off season...I was treated like a child, and was completely ignored the 2nd time. I had to awkwardly step out of the dressing room half dressed because my consultant was clearly busy working up another girl. I was then STILL ignored, and had to have my bridesmaid help me. They train these salespeople all wrong man.

Went to David’s Bridal today because I was concerned about the looseness and bagginess at certain areas of my dress. (The reason it was baggy is because I tried on a size 12 when I found my dress and the lady insisted I go a size up, but that’s a whole other story.) So I’m in my dress and the alteration lady comes out, takes a look and the proceeds to ask me what my concerns were, so I told her. Initially when I bought my dress, I was assisted very quickly and everyone was very sweet. However, I felt very rushed to try on my dress and pick a yes or no immediately and try on the next. I scheduled my first alterations appointment and went in. I told them exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. When I picked it up, I told the lady assisting me that I thought my hem wasn’t hemmed enough, if at all, and I was told that lace would naturally drag. Went there to purchase a wedding gown off the rack for my sister who is eloping and they wouldn’t allow for her to even try one on. THE CLEARANCE RACK!!!! All because she didn’t have an appointment.

I went to pick up my dress and of course wanted to try it on. I was put in a changing room and introduced to Chloe who was to assist me. I came out with the dress on and there was nobody there. NOBODY. I called out a few times for Chloe, and nobody came (and I'm not a quiet person). I attempted to zip it and clip the neck, still standing there outside the dressing room waiting.
