Associates are rude and make you feel stupid... I also ordered 5 necklaces for my bridesmaids the day I bought my dress. I paid for them on the spot along with mine. I never received my necklaces as they said I’d get a call when they had all of them in stock in the store. I called about them today because my wedding is July 28th. They said I took them the day I bought my dress (which I didn’t) I still have everything in the same bag as when I left there... they then told me they will not refund me my money nor give me neckla... read more
dint like that the one seller told me i couldn't afford the dress i wanted that i need to bump up my budget they did even have much of a selection in store for a couple of my brides maids ... tried pushing me to buy or order online ... i got the exact dress i wanted from a different place for my budget i will not be attending my appointment
Very disappointed with our experience bridesmaid shopping. I like to give people and businesses the benefit of the doubt- I understand if you’re busy, lack of staff etc. but when someone is rude or multiple instances occur form same company then I have a problem. Myself and three of my bridesmaids went in last month, had an appointment. When we got there they told us to look around at dresses, grab some, and that a stylist would be with us. I went in to go wedding dress shopping with my sister-in-law to be. I was turned off immediately by our consultant when, not even 10 minutes into the appointment, she told us to rush because our appointment time was almost up (umm... what?). She allowed us to try on three dresses. Once in the dressing room area (which was very small), the bride to be came out sweating because it was so unbearably hot. Every time I’ve been to this business, I have encountered rude and/or untrained employees. As a bridesmaid in two weddings, I was not the one choosing where to shop. In the future, I will not recommend this location to anyone getting married. Hopefully this is not the etiquette at all David’s Bridal stores. I’ve had employees who are “helping” the party just up and disappear without a word, while we are left to fend for ourselves. I want to publicly thank David's Bridal for saving the day. The bridesmaids dresses looked fabulous. As for the house of brides in Schaumburg, I will be letting everyone I know you stranded us without bridesmaids dresses with less than 2 weeks until the wedding. I never want to hear the phrase "don't worry. They'll be here" ever again.
Customer service was terrible.
I made an appointment to get bridesmaids dresses tried on. Needless to say I hated the experience. As the bride I didn’t feel like I was being taken care of. I asked if they would measure the bridesmaids because they didn’t know their sizes and she refused and said she had to walk off and take care of a bride. I felt like I was being pushed off to do it on my own when I felt like I was a potential paying customer and a guest and I should have at least had help getting my bridesmaids measured and tried on.
