I had a good experience but would prefer to try dresses that I pick or my family picked not the ones the staff picks for you as they dont know you. I realize that you may try something unexpected and like it but it is also a waste of time
Dont even think about wasting your time here. After being degraded and called names here today i will never ever recommend this bridal store to anyone.

DO NOT EVER SHOP AT DAVID'S BRIDAL IN CALGARY AB. I have have nothing but a bad experience with my bridesmaid dresses. And today the staff at the Calgary location decided to degrade one of my bridesmaids and call her mean names and saying very unprofessional things to her about her weight. I thought this was supposed to be exciting and a happy moment.....guess I thought incorrectly!! When we arrived to David’s Bridal and checked in we got eye rolls and attitude. Most of the dresses that I wanted to try they didn’t have. The consultant that helped my family and I wasn’t helpful at all. I took my bridesmaids to davids Bridal to try on a dress I had found I had made an appointment. The lady we had was rude, pushy and distracted. We left feeling uneasy but loved the dress. We called to let them know if our experience they didn't care and never followed up. It all started off great, found the dress, bought the dress and the it all went downhill with the fittings and alterations. When I bought my dress I was told the fabric could not be steamed, same message was relayed to me when I went for the first fitting. Came back for the second fitting to see my dress being steamed, it caused the fabric to wrinkle and bunch. The straps were incorrectly sewn on several times. Absolute worst service ever and not enough choices size wise. We had an appointment and you wouldn't have even known. Our consultant first never really greeted us then after we took it upon ourselves to try on tells us she is on the other side so we ended up needing to move dressing rooms. Then after we move she was never around. I have done so much business with David’s Bridal.. from purchasing 3 bridesmaids dresses to using them for my wedding. I was pregnant for a wedding this month and wasn’t able to use a dress I bought because it did not fit me. I went to return the dress.. with tags on it and I was told I couldn’t return it. Another bridesmaid in the same wedding who is also pregnant needed to return a dress of hers that didn’t fit and the Duluth store took her dress back and gave her a refund no questions asked!
