My daughter bought her wedding gown off the clearance rack. The gown was not her size, it was way to big. After $500 plus dollars to alter it, it is still way too big. My first concern is why would a consultant encourage a bride to buy a dress so big. My second is, why would a seamstress allow a bride to leave David’s Bridal in an altered gown that is still too big? After numerous calls to both the store and corporate we have no solution. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They lost my dress and waited until a week before the wedding to refund it and I had to pick a dress off of the floor. Majority of the staff members we encountered seemed so inconvenienced by every question that was asked and seemed to hate their jobs. Would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.
I ordered a bridesmaid dress on April 15 for a June wedding. My sister and I order the exact same dress in the exact same size. We tried it on in the store before ordering and it fit perfect. We both received the dress. Hers fit perfectly like it did when we first tried it and mine needed 4-5 inches more of material to close. I go back to the store and they tell me they will order me a new dress. The workers are very nice but after spending like $1000 on a dress, it cost half that price just for the alterations. Wish it was included to begin with.
Never shoped there and never will. Just another store where money and profit outweighs decency

In beginning my (oakdale) experience was great. Even though all the dresses i really loved online only one of them was available at the store. I didn't get tour around store. I had to pick the best dress out of what was in store. Not much to choose from. I think other locations might have more to chose from. Rep helped with trying dress on - she was helpful. Picked dress. My sister and I went into this store twice to look for her a wedding dress, and me a maid of honor dress. She had an appointment to look for her dress. When we got there for her appointment, the place was a little busy, nothing to crazy. The woman whom was to be assisting her barely paid an ounce of attention to her.
