Dress experience was good but alterations were a nightmare. First time we went to pick up dress and the hem was off by almost 2 inches- but just on one side. The dress did not bustle correctly. It was done differently on each side of the dress. Seamstress kept stating dismay why anyone would do it that way. She had to keep the dress to try and fix it but told us it was not an exact science- REALLY!! I guess we should be grateful because she said she wouldn't charge us AGAIN. then at the wedding the bustle broke after 15 minu... read more
The staff was very pushy! I’m not buying a car, lighten up.
David’s Bridal needs to reevaluate their return policy. How can a bride or bridesmaid have a dress in their hands for a couple weeks and not be able to return it?! A dress that was tried on once, stored in a bag with tags still attached, and a receipt. Absolutely horrible customer service and Altoona has some extremely rude employees who make a bride who is no longer getting married feel even worse about the situation. Everyone do yourselves a favor and take your business elsewhere.
I may have had a good experience shopping, but my sister ended up with an awful alteration mess here. The day of my wedding the bra that they sewed in came completely undone and fell out of the dress. When we looked at the dress none of the fixes were the same. I could have fixed the dress better than the seamstress did. My sister felt that they really didn’t care about the work they were performing and they ruined an absolutely beautiful dress.
Our first time the to pick out a dress was a great experience. However today my future wife went in for the fitting and the experience was hell on wheels .Apparently the staff who took care of them all the braids maids and my lovely wife to be, was just a ASS . the undergarment was not fitted before they left so another trip is needed ( an i will not pay that over charged alteration fee!! 150 bucks really 700 for the dress was not enough, then 90 on each braides maid that is total BS
My fiance and i have had nothing but trouble there. The lady that first sized her and ordered the dress completly ordered the wrong one, now 2 weeks later she gets a call that the new dress is in and orders the wrong size. I do not reccomend David's bridal at all to anyone. Even after contacting corporate 4 or 5 times about our problems we have yet to have a phone call and or email returned to us.
It was the worst experience I when wedding dress shopping. My consultant, Yasmin, was late coming out to help me and the women at the front door told me that she was there. It was obvious that she did not want to be at work. She continuously disappeared or was busy talking to another employee every time I needed the dress zipped, so I or my friend zipped the dress because I waited so long. Every time I described what I didn't like about a specific dress and what I was looking for she would bring a dress the I had what I didn... read more
