The bridal consultant I worked with seemed nice at first but not long into my appointment she let me know that she had just put in her two weeks notice and proceeded to tell me how draining this job is and how unhappy she is doing it and how excited she is to leave. After I basically took over running the appointment and told her what dresses I wanted to try on, I found one that I considered my favorite of the day ( not even close to being "the one"). She called the alterations manager up after I told her that wasn't necessa... read more

I guess I didn’t appear affluent enough to be helped.

Horrible experience with my first time trying on wedding dresses. The lady helping me showed no enthusiasm and didn’t seem to want to do her job or even be there. It was awkward and not what a bride should have to experience. The whole time I was there it was very unprofessional and I hope no one has to experience what I went through. Hopefully she was just having a bad day, but that’s still not an excuse.

Alterations dept doesn’t know how to do their job. My daughter left in tears after being told that they couldn’t alter her dress to fit her properly, 5 days before her wedding.

My daughter and I went there last night to purchase a lower cut corset bra. We had purchase other one their but it is to high for her prom dress. We went in and asked them if they sold lower cut bras. They told us they didn't, but they could alter the one we had. When I asked the associate whether there was another store that sold them, she said no and that they had sent people to other stores and no one had them and these people came back and purchased a bra and had it altered. IF YOU NEED A LOWER CUT BRA, GO TO EVELINE'S... read more

I recently got engaged in December '17 and as a type A personality, I like to get this in place ahead of schedule. I was in the Washington Square on Friday (April 20) and decided to stop by to see what some dresses looked like in person and price points for my flower girl...as I entered, there was a gal manning the front desk, who sized me up and down (LITERALLY) and asked, "Did you need something?" in the most street form of communication I have ever heard in a bridal shop, let alone a shop period. I smiled at her and respo... read more

Our future daughter in law made an appointment at this shop because they were said to have one of the dresses on her “wish list”. We arrived on time and waited a good amount. When we had about dresses, our attendant was nowhere to be found and we had to look for her and finally have her called. She did a great job getting dresses but when our DIL found her dress and was ready to purchase with their great offer, it was denied and she was left without a dress and no explanation. Poor service and lousy offer is my opinion.

The experience inside the store was great. We were well taken care of but unfortunately whenever it was time to put our dresses on the morning of the wedding, one of the bridesmaids dresses was broken. In order for the dress to be zipped up we could only zip it halfway and then literally had to sew the bridesmaid into the dress. It was a huge set back and not a good thing to have to come across.

Well let’s see, my initial bridesmaid dress appt was ok....the consultant working with me was good, but rarely able to help me. She was also put with a bride who obviously took priority over me. She literally pulled my dresses, gave me a room, and left me. I think she zipped 2 out of the 6 dresses I tried on. Otherwise I was on my own. I did purchase my dress that day. It took very little time to come in and I picked it up this weekend. Someone went and got my dress, put it in a room for me, & told me the room and that was i... read more
