I will never recommend anyone to this place. Management and Corporate are sooo unprofessional!

I went to Davids Bridal in Lake Grove last week to try on the selection of bridesmaid dresses that were chosen for me to pick from. It was so hard to even find one in my size to try on since most of the dresses on the floor were ripped from being tried on over and over again. Being able to tell if the dresses fit properly was nearly impossible with ripped hook&i's and torn or stuck zippers. Here's the list of things David's Bridal has told me in the last two months: "April should be a good time to come in for a wedding in early August." (MARCH) "All the dresses you've selected will be in around early to mid July - 12 weeks, if you order them this week. There's also a sale through May 7th, which is the latest you should order." This place is a disorganized mess full of rude people. It was a Wednesday afternoon so the store was not busy. I was in shopping for a bridesmaid dress and my appointment was for 12:30. Nobody came over to assist me until after 1. By that point I had pulled a couple dresses from the rack and the consultant Maia had come over. She seemed stressed and annoyed with me and was overall unhelpful. There were no sizes available in most of the dresses I tried on and I was told it would take 16 weeks for an order to come in. Horrible experience with bridesmaid dresses. Bought them over a year ago, and wedding is supposed to be this year but was cancelled. We (me and my sister) knew with the return policy we couldn’t return but called and asked if we could exchange them because they still have the tags on them and we’re in a wedding this year. Was told over the phone yes we could. Come into store after driving an hour to get there to be told that we can’t exchange them. Harrisburg location .. scheduled an appointment to take my grandaughter for a prom dress. When i called the store I was put on hold and left there to die. Went online and scheduled and got my email confirmation. We arrived and assigned to an Assistant whose name completely escapes me. She did everything right. Gave us space to select our options. Brought shoes and attempted to accessorize when appropriate. We had a very nice experience as we typically do when there. Prices seemed a lot higher this year but ....

First off the dresses for Mom of the Groom were all plus size and not many choices. They obviously don’t care about the mom’s. They also need a chair in the dressing rooms. My mom has a bad hip and it was impossible for her to change. She has to sit. She’s having hip replacement in June. They need to schedule fittings better. Too many people at one time. Can’t get to the mirrors to see yourself. Overall poor dressing rooms and poor dress selection for moms. Also I had some teen open my fitting room door while I was undressin... read more

NEVER AGAIN!My bridesmaids and I went to our appointment had no problem finding our dresses that we like but the women(I know the name but am not posting it)who helped was extremely rude with bad breath. So we ordered our dresses they told us we'd have them in about 12weeks.
