Horrible experience, after 3 dresses . my sister still got a dress that had issues. Buttons falling off. Alliterations were done incorrectly..twice. Staff was rude and almost bullyish . refused to take back a dress they made mistakes on. And now my sister is out over 600 bucks.and still has to pay another party almost 300 to fix it...if they can... Do not use this location.

Worst shopping experience ever! Booked an appointment we called a head and warned that we had a lot of bridesmaids and they decided to share our staff with a bride, felt terrible for the bride she should have had more attention. We got little attention and we had to go searching for our own sizes for each dress we wanted to try on. I just spent the last 10 minutes reading terrible review after terrible review. (Which I should have done before I bought my bridesmaids dresses from here) I made 2 appointments for my wedding party, and both times they couldn't be bothered with helping, they were rude and uninterested. I spent a majority of my time going back forth from the racks to the change rooms instead of enjoying the moment with my bridal party. I scheduled my appointment a month in advance and they double booked my appointment. I was left multiple times. There was no place for my mother and 2 bridesmaids to sit. There were tons of men around because it was prom season. Then expect me to pay thousands of dollars for a dress. I don't think so !!! Horrible management!!!! My lady was nice but hated being double booked and treated like I was at a department store!!!

I am definitely one to complain but after my experience with David's Bridal especially the Metaire location and the way the treat customers I feel people should be warned! My first two visits to the store were perfect! I went in on a Thursday evening and Tiffany and the store manger were amazing to my mom & I. They all helped and made it an enjoyable experience for us because of that I decided to take my bridesmaids there to look pick out bridesmaid dresses which you would of thought would of been easy since I had three dres... read more

Very disappointed that there is an extra charge for alterations! I don't know of any bridesmaid gowns that do not require some type of alteration to fit perfectly for the wedding date! I got married 30 years ago and there were no additional charges. Shame on you David's. The consultant was very professional and courteous, however, very unhappy that as a bridesmaid I will have to pay an additional cost for a dress that is too long and must be altered so I can walk down the aisle without tripping!

They are never ready! You make an appointment and four people still ask what your there for, they don't have your dress out, they don't direct you where to go or what to do--if I hadn't started acting like a fool I'd probably still be standing there bags in hand and nothing being accomplished. They spelled my name wrong and it's an easy name so they couldn't find me and they ordered the wrong size for one of my bridesmaids and instead of owning the mistake she told her she'd waive the rush fee but not bc it was their fault. ... read more
