I went today to pick up my wedding dress, a day that is suppose to be happy and exciting to actually try on your dress in you actual size. Unfortunately that was not the case, I made an appointment so I could have someone assist me as I wanted to try on a second dress for the reception. Customer service was terrible. We arrived with an appointment. They didn't have the time right. Then the dress was "somewhere around here" and when we walked in the lady didn't even acknowledge us. She was on the phone but I wave or a gesture to acknowledge us would have helped. So then I tracked someone down. Never in my life would I expect to be in a store with a bride looking for her dream dress to be watching her heart breaking with every dress she tried on. The girl helping her hated her job or just did not know what customer service was. She told the bride that dresses were out of her price range and she shouldn't try them on even after we advised her that price was not an issue. My experience at David's Bridal was okay- definitely could have been better but also could have been worse. First off we were given one hour for 7 girls to find dresses- already a very hard task. Our stylist spent about 20-25 minutes taking my bridesmaids measurements and grabbing one dress for each of them to try on.
